2 nights in Ronda
We were given a room where the heater (air conditioning) was not working. After a while, they moved us to another room. The room was cold, the air conditioning was very noisy and the blinds were stuck halfway down which means we had the sunlight coming in early in the morning. Definitively not a 4 star hotel and overpriced for what it is. Location wise it is convenient if you drive as only 10 min away from Ronda.

Beautiful location below the town with great views, a nearby waterfall, clean comfortable rooms/bathroom and a comfy common area. Easy parking but you will need to either hike down/up to get to or from the city or drive a curvy dirt road. Wasn’t successful in getting Wi-fi to work, which i’m not sure is usual or not.

Property informed that they have a temporary closure less than a day in advance. It is very inconvenient when you are in the middle of a trip and have to re organize things. They were however nice enough to rebook another hotel on their own. It did however increase the price due to no free parking which was available with the original booking.

A bit closer to the main road than expected, but the traffic noise was not too intrusive. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and dinner in the restaurant (we had the Andalucian specialities) was excellent! and very good value. To get to the pool there is a walk past the tennis courts, and there's no poolside changing room, so we needed to wear a suitable robe and shoes. The pool depth is from 1.2m to 2.0m, so not suitable for small children. Not quite enough sun loungers available. Room was quiet at night and we slept well. In the morning there were two breakfast options: either full buffet or coffee and pastries in the bar, very good coffee! Would definitely stay here again.

Early May stay.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, hotel drinks cheap with a lovely area to sit. The only downside for me was I’d read there was a bus stop outside and had planned catching the bus into Ronda in the evening- there was a bustop however no buses ever stopped there. Fortunately we had a car so drove in .

For value for money this was one of the best hotels i have stayed in for quite a while, the dinning room was slightly understaffed in my opinion at dinner but the waitress was excellent considering she was under pressure in my opinion and managed to cope.. The rump/entrecote steak was excellent .

On a 21 day trip this is the 1st hotel that was disappointing. All the hotels so far have been 4* this one was not even close. The people and service was nice but the old warn carpet and toilet seat that looked like it has been through a war were not nice. I like a firm bed but this one made me sore on the pressure points.

Lovely quiet, old-world country hotel:
We arrived late and too tired to explore restaurants in Ronda. We had a lovely room, so after a shower we checked the menu at the hotel. It is short, but adequate. The food was of the highest quality, and my oxtail stew was superb! Our only criticisms concerned the complete lack of fresh vegetables or green salad on the menu, and cheese is simply a no go! It is easy to spend far more and get far less satisfaction, so the quality to price ratio was excellent. A successful start to a mixed trip!

Boutique style, friendly staff, great food!
Simply a great hotel and great value for money too, out in the countryside but close to the beautiful city of Ronda. Boutique style, outstanding staff, great food, good facilities and a nice garden to wander around too. One out of three of us thought the bed was a bit on the firm side, but that niggle aside, a great stay and a hotel I'd recommend to anyone!!!

A Disappointment
The hotel is undergoing a name change and was very difficult to find. We called twice for directions and were hung up on both times. The wifi did not work on the second floor, the room was very noisy, the bathroom door did not close, and the lightbulbs did not work well. On a busy morning, there were only two staff members present to help many guests. Breakfast was a dismal disappointment, and we were first told it was included, and then made to pay for it when a different employee insisted. The grounds and facilities are beautiful; it is a shame the service is so terribly poor.

The hotel is 7 Kilometers outside of Ronda. But that did not seem to be an issue. For all the other cities I choose accommodations right in the city. Actually, being outside the city here was a bonus. I had a mini-van which is difficult to find a suitable parking space for it. But I drove to Ronda and I found one big outdoor parking at the beginning of the town where I could easily park my big min-van. It was 10 minutes walk from the bridge. The hotel staff (Sergio) were very very helpful. We had two rooms, each sleeping 3 people. We were a family of six. One of the the rooms was a bit dated. The washroom doors in both rooms did not close fully. The strike plate needed adjustment. I brought that to the attention of the staff but it did not get fixed. Mind you were there for one night. They had a breakfast buffet for 6 euros per person. We thought it was good for the price even as we did not eat meet. The staff made us some eggs, although that is not common for breakfast in Spain. There was a lot of noise coming from the military facility nearby as the soldiers were training. I am an early riser, so the noise did not bother me a lot but it did my family. We liked the view from the hotel and the location. I would say the experience in general was positive and I would stay here again.

Country Charm
Grand older hotel, it was quite clean with comfortable facilities. The restaurant was very good for the evening meal and breakfast, making our stay memorable and very recommendable.

Ronda visit
Easy to find, great location to stay for visiting Ronda. Free parking. Although we didn't use it a bus stop is adjacent to the hotel.

Hotel has good location, but rooms are worn and not up to the standard you expect from the hotels.com description. Room was also not clean. But the staff was friendly.

Good value right outside Ronda.
Nice clean spacious room but a little too much road noise and some sort of air conditioning noise as well. Stay away from the lower level along the main roadway and you should avoid the noise.

One Night Stay in Ronda
A little ways out of town but not more than 5 or 6 miles. Nothing else around, so not good for those who want nightlife nearby. Waiter in restaurant was very nice. Could hear road noise on right side of hotel so would ask for room on other side. Large room in very Spanish style hotel.

Lovely hotel just out of Ronda
The Don Benito hotel was a great place to stay - just a little out of Ronda, but took us around 7 or 8 minutes to drive there. The grounds are lovely and include tennis courts, spa and pool, plus the restaurant and bar area were great - staffed with friendly, accommodating staff. Room was lovely and spacious with elegant decor. We would happily stay here again!

Old Spanish hotel with lovely rooms.
Hotel is outside of Ronda but fine if driving a car. We had a lovely large room with big bathroom. It also had a bar fridge. Really enjoyed our stay there.

매우 쾌적함
객실이 너무 넓어서 쾌적했어요. 론다시내와는 차로 10분정도 거리였는데 가격도 싸고 무료주차라 좋았어요. 밑에 레스토랑과 바도 있어서 편합니다. 자동차여행자들에게 추천합니다.
