We had some great times and terrible times while we were there. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The second bedroom upstairs could use a little bigger dresser in the closet since it sleeps 3-4 people. The master bathroom has an uneven transition from the wood floor to the slate in the bathroom. Unfortunately, my elderly mom caught her foot on it and fell and broke her arm. Luckily Mammoth doctors are very used to treating broken bones and she received excellent care at the ER and orthopedic doctor. The transition from wood to slate is also uneven in the second bath on the main floor but not as pronounced as the master. We loved the kitchen table and spent a lot of time hanging out there because, unfortunately, the couch was the most uncomfortable we’ve ever experienced. There is just no way to sit comfortably on it. The seat is narrow and the couch is very hard. To be honest, the picture of the living room with the big sectional was one of the reasons I choose this house. It looked so big I thought we could all sit and hang out but that was not meant to be. The blinds over the living room were not hanging properly and I did notify you of that when we arrived. I just didn’t want you to think we had damaged them. One of the barstools is also wobbly. We had plenty of towels but very few washcloths. Not enough for one full days use with 9 people. It is nice that there is a lot of food left behind, however, there was so much food in the cabinets we had little room to store the food that we brought and had to leave much of it out on the counters. Also not a fan of using others condiments and such that were left behind in the refrigerator but others might not mind. The location was excellent. I would not recommend this rental to others because of the safety issue with the floor transitions into the bathrooms and the uncomfortable couch. If those items were not an issue I would have rented this house again on my next stay. Overall we had a great time…minus the broken bone and bad couch. Thank you.
