"This is a budget hotel. It's an aged property. But price is right, and it's only for one night!Lou at the front desk is an angel and she wants to be helpful. She even offered to give me a lift to dinner in town. If you are riding the train and you want to save a few bucks then stay here. There is a new Sinclair convenience store 100 yards away that has great breakfast burritos and good coffee."

"The Dunes Inn is located conveniently in Alamosa to be able to walk to nearby restaurants and stores. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The free breakfast was at a restaurant next door and was cooked to order. Our room was clean and comfortable. It is an older motel but a fine place to stay when visiting Great Sand Dunes NP."
