But the service was pretty poor. First off for the price not having in room coffee is ridiculous, I've stated at motels at a fraction of the price that has in room coffee. But the worst part is when we went to get coffee downstairs it was empty and whenwe tried to ask the front desk person walking by for coffee, they didn't hear us since they had their headphones in. Kind of Scandinavian decor. Staff was friendly. It was very convenient to the places we wanted to go and is right across the street from Lake Erie. The downside for us is that we are in our 70s the beds were on low platforms which made it harder to get in and out of the bed, and the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom was beautiful, but had no countertop or shelves to put toiletries on. We did not eat at the facility. They only have brunch on weekends, so we went in town to a place called Latitudes for a very nice breakfast. When we asked where a gas station was, no one seemed to know, which we thought was very strange. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The decor was perfect. We liked that we could walk to the lighthouse :)The TV had great reception and wi-fi was good too. Cell phone service was a little sketchy because of the area. We would have liked snack options up front.
