"The restaurant bar was amazing and great service by workers Charlie and his crew the front desk employees not so great no smiles no welcoming everyone that I met while on my stay they definitely need to be retrained the hotel is very appealing they should be more welcoming when guests arrive and have questions. "The property really is a quiet place, true to its name. The host was very communicative and paid great attention to make the place warm for us. Would definitely book again in the future. Just a heads up, the property is up a pretty decent unpaved grade. Although I was able to make it up in an accord hybrid, all wheel drive and decent ground clearance will make things more comfortable."

"Wonderful home with amazing views. It had everything for our family ages 5-75 to be entertained. The 10 year old asked if it was a new house since it was so clean! Deer & elk came by as we drank coffee outside it morning. Hot tub was perfect for relaxing after days of walking trails behind house, short drive to sled White Sands, or walking to/thru Cloudcroft. None of us had any complaints."

"This Cloudcroft mountain home fit our multi-generational family of seven well! It’s conveniently located close to Cloudcroft Village while also bordering the National Forest with hiking trails! The young grandsons loved the bunk beds & the games. The supplies for our baby grandson were wonderful! A favorite spot was sitting in the glider or at the dining table on the front deck watching hummingbirds or listening to the wind in the pine trees. Also appreciated was the “baby gate” put across the top of the front deck stairs for our dog, as well as the low fence at the back of the house. All the appliances worked well making it convenient for eating in or doing laundry. The only negative is that the original amenities list included AC, but there is none, so it was warm in the house by the late afternoon/ evening and hard to cool down in a warmer-than-usual late June in Cloudcroft. Opening some of the windows (some hard to open because they are weighted), ceiling fans in all the rooms, plus an oscillating fan in the living room helped move around the air. Perhaps box fans can be made available during the summer months to put in the living room, dining room, and bedroom windows to pull in the outside air. Ian did apologize for the inaccuracy of the AC listing and corrected it, so communication with him was great. Overall, our family enjoyed a lovely stay in Cloudcroft at this mountain home!"

"There was a bathroom in each room. Porch was awesome.kitchen facility worked fine. Plenty of hot water. Things for the the kids to do. Seemed remote, but was not. Bring your own tioletry items, none are available.the house was clean."
