My wife and I traveled through Cloudcroft in April. 2026 on a scenic trip home from El Paso, and we fell in love with the views and the town. We went back last week and stayed the night and this place was awesome! Super friendly staff and beautiful views. Great place to stay.

Nice property; old historic building nicely furnished. Received entry instructions and breakfast time from owner prior to arrival. Quiet when we arrived, no one else around. Went down for breakfast at the scheduled time of 8:30… no one around to prepare breakfast. Called manager and left message. No response. Called owner; she was very concerned, surprised, and apologetic; she offered reimbursement for cost of breakfast. We declined. Later, left another message for manager…no response. Enjoyed our stay except for the lack of response from manager…disappointing. Had planned to stay again in the spring, but will now reconsider.

"We enjoyed our stay and the cabin plus the campground were delightful. However, we booked this place primarily for the hot tub that was blatantly false advertised. "Beautiful property. Easy access to the highway. Mostly clean except for something sticky on top of the frig and microwave. Host was very responsive to extra toilet paper and wash cloth. Nice getaway from the heat of Arizona."
