Beautiful place within walking distance to downtown.
"Wonderful place. We enjoyed our stay very much! We enjoyed the quietness, and thanks to the wonderful temperatures, it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the property. Check-in was very easy. Definitely, I recommend staying in this beautiful property.

I booked the Sedona Suite for a work trip and had no idea that I would be walking into such a luxurious and relaxing space. I LOVED IT! From the homey touches to the stylish decor, it was everything I needed for relaxation and good nights' sleep. The grounds of the property were amazing as well AND...the homemade cookies that greeted me upon arrival was such a bonus. Communication with the owner was easy and exact. I so appreciated every detail that they wove into this space. I'm hoping that someday soon, my company sends me back to Mena and I have the chance to enjoy this suite and all the property has to offer again. Thanks so much!

Exceeded Expectations
We needed a couple of nights of relaxation without an agenda. The king bed and lovely room attracted us, but we were in for a true surprise. The grounds of the garden outside the door were fabulous. The sound of the waterfall, the squirrels in the trees, the gorgeous well maintained paths and flowers were the perfect setting for early morning coffee. The quaint garden lights in the peaceful evening were delightful. The owners were some of the finest people we’ve met.

This is a rare find. Really nice and quiet with a beautiful backyard with a fire pit and amazing garden. I would stay there again for sure.

Beautiful in every way
Wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful property and cottage inside and out. Spotlessly clean, modern decor and comfy bed. Loved the extra touches like cookies when we arrived and a fully stocked coffee area complete with a Keurig and assortment of coffees. The owners were friendly and available if we had questions. I highly recommend this property.

The property was beautiful, just as advertised. Everything was immaculate. Regretfully, the hostess, Audrey, was not there, on our arrival and had not sent the info we needed to check in. However, Scott, I assume to be her husband, was there. He evidently did not know about our reservation, so he did the best he could and let us in to the room before he left to go to a planned event to meet his wife, it appeared we had been forgotten about. There is a personal story behind our reason for being in this particular town and staying at their Guest House. Scott was very gracious, and provided a nice bottle of wine with apologies for the error. We never met Audrey. We left feeling disappointed and rather unimportant as guests of their lovely suite in Mena.

Great place to stay!
This is our second visit to this property and we will be back. The room was very nice, clean, comfortable, and well appointed. There are multiple private rooms on the property, it’s so cute! Enjoyed a cup of coffee this morning and took the fresh baked cookies for the road.

Sonoma Suite at the Carriage House
My husband and I have stayed at The Carriage House many times. It is the very first place I look to book anytime we visit this area of Arkansas. We have stayed in three of the Carriage House rentals, and they are all wonderful. Clean, very comfortable beds, private and peaceful, with beautiful outside areas to enjoy. Check in is easy, there are always delicious chocolate chip cookies waiting for us. We have stayed in another property off site that has the same owners, and it was wonderful, as well, so I am quite certain any of the Vaca’s properties will be a great experience…just like home!

Just What I Needed!!
This was just what I needed!! I had to travel for work and every day that I stayed I had to travel about 45 minutes from this location. I left at 7 and returned after 6 every night. Needless to say I was tired. It was quiet and I was not ever disturbed and was able to study and get the rest I needed after training every day. It is a very neat property and I wish I had more time to enjoy it while I was there. It was just like they described it and if I ever have to travel this way again, I will definitely be staying here.

These units are very upscale with new finishes throughout and extremely clean and fresh. Modern artistic style. Very private. All in all felt quite special. I’ve stayed at plenty of short term rentals. This ranks with the best. You can’t go wrong.

Overall stay in the Sonoma Suite was excellent. Everything brand new and well taken care of. The whole property including the outside garden/yard area would be really nice in the spring and fall with the waterfall, garden area, firepit, hammock, etc. Just too hot for our stay. Not much in Mena except Rich Mt. and the lodge but was worth the trip to see the mountains during the drive over. In the fall of the year this would be a great visit.

Great place to stay
The room was great and immaculate. The only issues were that the code to open the door was not complete. There was an extra step that was not included. The other issue was the walkway to the wooden gate was not level with the other walkway from the parking area. There was a small step up that was not marked and caused my wife to trip and fall, hitting her head on the wooden gate post. The hosts were not home, or did not answer the door. My suggestion is to mark that 1 inch step up with a warning before someone trips and receives a severe injury.

Amazing! The sonoma suite was beautiful, modern, sooo comfy, & ice cold! Nicely private & yet cozy! The yard was also AMAZING! The water feature so soothing, beautiful landscape, plenty places to sit privately & enjoy it! Axe throwing, teepees for the kids, hammock, lovely large fire pit, lightening bugs all over - you will not regret staying here! We will be back!

The house was a beautiful historic property. We stayed in the Sonoma Suite. It was clean, well taken care of, the bed was super comfortable. The grounds were filled with flowers, gardens, and wonderful seating areas. We also got to watch the chickens scratch, and run around .

Traveling Easter Sunday
We started a 10 day road trip on Easter Sunday and had first stop in Mena Ar. at the Carriage House Inn. Ashley was our primary contact and certainly did everything to make our stay PERFECT !! The Parisian Loft was very bit as lovely in person as it was portrayed via website. Comfortable bed and lovely shower. Home made cookies greeted us on arrival. Ashley was easily available via text/phone. Traveling Easter made eating in town impossible. The stairs to the loft were somewhat problematic for 2 Seniors. Definitely recommens a stay here.

Very nice!
The queen suite was perfect for me! I enjoyed sitting outside reading and walking around the enormous yard. There was a lovely waterfall, a few friendly chickens, and multiple places to sit and enjoy the flowers and shade. It was very close to Jantzen Park which was a prize in itself! I definitely plan to stay here again sometime.

Nothing Short of Incredible!
Our daughter-in-law found this wonderful place to stay in Mena. We were excited but had no expectations. Wow! We hadn't gotten out of the car before we were impressed. The big house is gorgeous. Grounds are kept immaculate. Walking into the Cottage took our breaths away. Cozy, beautiful, spotless, antiquey, and well stocked with everything we needed. The additional buildings are beautiful as well. We had our coffee by the fire pit and ax throwing area. The chicken coop was a cute surprise Two nights were not enough to enjoy all the amenities this place offered. Cannot wait to return.

The Sonoma Suite was clean and quiet and the listing was accurate. Parking was sufficient. However, the little details were off and we would not stay there again. The shower curtain was poorly thought out, possibly the wrong size? There was a lot of curtain for the small bath tub. It covered the shower controls, one of which was missing a screw and came off in my hand. The bathroom sink is a pedestal sink so there's no room for toiletries. The sconces were adorned with candlestick stubs. There was no decaf coffee and no creamer - not even powdered. The hangers in the wardrobe were all mismatched and one had a dry cleaning tag still on it. The veneer on the wardrobe was torn off in places. The bed was hard and three feet off the ground - a pretty good climb - and the paint on the frame was peeling/scratched. There was no full length mirror and the mirror over the bathroom sink is hung low. So, like I said, it was sufficient - just a lot of little things that added up to a not-so-great-stay.

Perfect get away in Mena!
We can't say enough nice things about this property! Everything is immaculately clean, charming, relaxing, and has a professional decorator's touch. The large backyard area has plenty of outdoor seating areas, a hammock, a tree swing, and a fire pit. Will definitely be returning!
