This place is a true gem tucked away from highway noise. Property is extremely well kept and beautiful. Alley at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart!! Definitely looking forward to coming back!

This is great little bungalow hotel just outside of the main area of Mendocino. The rooms were modern and clean, the grounds are nice, and there's actually a quite good view of the ocean out of the back window of many of the rooms. All around, we had a lovely time and would stay here again!

A nice new property
It is an incredible new property. Definitely felt like we had our own little bungalow. They still have some kinks to work out. The hearing is a little pseudo fireplace that can’t be adjusted. There is also no fridge or microwave if you stay for more than a night. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to check out.

Very modern inside the room, great location easy to get into downtown Mendocino and easy access to Hwy1. Pet friendly lawn area also.

Pretty old room with ancient heater and plumbing fixtures that is not functioning well. The decoration in the room is modern but the bed is hard to sleep on. Pretty mediocre place.

Absolutely loved this stay. The staff at the front desk was so nice and inviting. The grounds around the property were beautiful. The room was big, clean and comfy. I can honestly say that was probably the best bath I’ve ever had with that jacuzzi tub. Cannot wait to come back.

I truly loved my stay - the bed was not as comfortable but I had every type of pillow a girl could ask for. The property is beautiful it is tucked away, nestled in Mother Nature with the most beautiful view ever. I requested the room with the bathtub and you can gaze out from the window (be careful) the sunset. Check-in/out was a breezy and super thankful I was able to use my rewards here to celebrate my birthday and the hotel even gave me a bottle of champagne! Loved the decor too! Very cool room. I loved the fireplace and the modern design. Unfortunately it smelled musty. I suspect a mold problem behind the newly updated rooms.

Very happy with our stay at Mendo Bunglow. Check-in and out was very easy. The staff on site was friendly, accommodating and helpful. Our rooms were updated and clean, the beds were very comfortable. The property was dog friendly with plenty of room to run around and explore. Very close 3 minute drive into the downtown of Mendocino, where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Fort Bragg was a quick 10 minute away. Overall wonderful experience!

Minor oversight, but comfy and cozy.
Easy check-in and room was great. Cleaners forgot some cleaning rags inside the room and did not leave us with a trash can in the room. Otherwise nice cozy place, really down the street from Main Street of Mendocino. Would come back again.

They are in the process of getting started. The new rooms are going to be fantastic. But they don’t have all the kinks worked out yet. Little things like no cream for my coffee. I still think it will be a great little place, I want to come back for that tub alone. Nice view on clear days.

Formerly known as the Blackberry Inn, Mendo Bungalow is getting full renovation to all of the rooms. Right now, there were three rooms available of the 16. I imagine the construction will be quick & it did not interfere with our stay at all! We stayed in a king room and it had a nice mini fridge with freezer, coffee maker and nice big bathroom. We opened the windows for a nice fresh breeze and slept comfortably!

We enjoyed our stay. It’s a hotel in progress as most rooms are being remodeled. But once it’s done will be amazing. Our room was one of few that had some updates… only issue was no air flow (a ceiling fan would be nice) and the bath tub faucet dripped all the time! We’ll come back once it’s ready and fully remodeled! Can’t wait!
