The city of Mérida is beautiful but sometimes a bit hectic and noise. The answer was to step through the front door of Mansión Mérida and be transported to a zen-like atmosphere of tranquility. The owner was warm and welcoming and the staff were superb. Mansión Mérida ranks at the top of our list.”

“All the staff, from the owners to office staff and breakfast room staff, were courteous and helpful. The breakfast options were delicious. Our room, Los DosToros on the second floor, was large with a sitting area and storage. There is a towel rack in the bathroom, not just hooks, so your towels can actually dry. All areas were attractively decorated. The central location is ideal for walking to great restaurants, parks, churches and markets. Parking is provided about a block away. If……

“Clean, comfortable, spacious, and well located. Quiet, considering it’s in the heart of downtown. Breakfast was nice and all staff we met was friendly. Wifi was a bit spotty and TV channels a bit outdated, but as a place to stay & enjoy your visit it’s a good choice. ”

“We stayed four nights in this beautifully designed 7 room boutique hotel in the historic district of Mérida. Our room was large and bright, with high ceilings, and had a very private terrace with table and chairs. The bathroom was large and had good lighting. There is a small restaurant and bar with a good variety of menu items and reasonable prices. Everything we ordered was delicious and presented beautifully. We enjoyed talking with the owner of the hotel, who is a wealth of information……
