If you want to be in a location where you’re not too central to the touristy parts and avoid the business, but are able to walk to quite a bit of different locations for shopping, tourism and dining. This will be a great spot for you and your friends. Staffing is great and friendly and provides excellent service.

We stay at this hotel quite often. It is a beautiful colonial building with a lovely courtyard. The staff is always courteous and helpful. It is within a short walking distance to everything and has convenient parking on sight. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and great location within walking distance of square and restaurants. Staff very accommodating as our checkout time was 12:00 but our bus didn’t leave till 2:47 so they kept our luggage and let us use facilities until we had to leave.

Our home away from home in Merida.

This is really a lovely hotel with a good location. Kind of central to all the good spots of interest. Good parking situation too. Like everywhere they are having staff shortages but the staff they do have work really really hard to keep everyone happy.

It’s an old construction, beautiful, that needs some repairs … also, they need to add new towels … to make us feel more comfortable or just bring your own like I did for myself ! Other than that, it makes you feel safe and the staff is very helpful in case any problems! I will stay again for sure!!!

I really wanted to enjoy this hotel but I wouldn't stay here again. My toilet didn't flush, so I had to constantly fiddle with it to fill with water and reflush. It was kind of yuck. The shower was dirty when I checked in so I had to clean it with wipes I packed. It's a little bit out of the way from decent food and entertainment but not too far. The bed was SUPER comfy though. Satin bedding was not changed which included the pillow cases which is not sanitary. The rest of the cotton bedding had been changed and smelled clean and fresh. The turn down was great! Customer service was excellent and the pool/garden is gorgeous!

MOST HORRIBLE HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!The reception staff were lovely is the only thing nice I can say , the foyer was clean but the rooms look clean yet the bedside lights were covered in dust, no towels, shower curtain was mouldy, states has room service, they don’t, states has a spa, they don’t, states have a swim up bar and two restaurants, they don’t its a cafe at best that is only open 7-3and the restaurant staff are very rude, don’t give you change just expect it as their tip. Awful overpriced hotel. The only exception is the receptionist Sophia whom is lovely, friendly and helpful. WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT AND UNBELIEVABLY OVERPRICED,DO NOT STAY HERE

All of the staff were wonderful and very accommodating! However, there did not appear to be many guests. Quite convenient location and perhaps would have more guests if updated? We were disappointed that there was only breakfast / lunch service and no longer evening dinner service. (As a first time visitor to Merida) my opinion is it's a beautiful property that probably could be returned to its former glory if updated and well maintained.

Parking was in a secured area not on the street which was nice. Our only complaint is housekeeping opened our door at 8 am in the morning and woke us up. Not exactly sure why they came in that early.
