Everything was great! The pool and sky lounge are excellent! Our room was cleaned very well everyday. We even enjoyed the restaurant several times. The staff was exceptional! They pre checked our luggage bc we were too early for check in. Everyone was above and beyond helpful. Can't wait to come back!

The Courtyard by Marriott Merida Downtown is now one of my favorite places to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was nice, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. I'll be staying there again in the near future. Thank you for making my stay really good.

I’ve stayed here several times over the last year and it’s really only gotten better time after time. The staff is always very friendly and helpful; the rooms are spacious and clean; it’s very well located; and the restaurant is truly excellent. It’s a solid 3-4 star hotel in my view. Special kudos to Carlos, an incredibly nice bellman who always seem to be in a great mood! 🙂

Merida is a beautiful city with very friendly people. Lots to see and do around the city and this area of Mexico. The Hotel was a good location to get into town (20 minute walk to main square or a very short bus journey). The staff were friendly and everything is very clean. Roof top Pool is lovely and great views over the town. Beware of happy hour as it is only selective drinks per day and it was not clearly shown. Also strange atmosphere up there at happy hour - if you like like loud music and DJ vibes it will be for you though. The only down side to the hotel was their food. One night there was a big thunderstorm (problem of visiting in late May) and so we stayed in the hotel for a pizza - which was a frozen pizza with items added. We know it is our fault really, as there are so many amazing restaurants around the area with great Yucatan menus hotel missing a trick with their food and creative menus

Our family had the most wonderful 3 nights at Mar Caribe. The entire staff was so welcoming and kind - especially to our little chihuahua! I’m so grateful that this luxe resort allows responsible dog owners to bring their pup. The buffet food was the best I’ve ever had at an all Inc’ - no need to go to the à la carte restos. The beach was glorious and very little sargassum except for one afternoon when a band washed ashore. Heavenly ocean swimming playing in the waves. A perfect 4 day break from the jungle 😊 Gracias Mar Caribe. And an extra thank you to Alberto at check-in and Carlos at the valet desk.

Bed mattress was lumpy. Asked for our complimentary coffee at tte restaurant expecting to be seated, instead they had us wait by the cashier while a waiter brought us our coffee in a paper cup, asked for cream, they brought it over for us to pour it. Second time we took a seat at small table by edge of the dining room, uninviting atmosphere. We assumed it's hotel's policy to issue complimentary drinks to go. Great roof pool!

Jeremias and Wendy truly made us feel at home — their warmth and attention to detail went above and beyond our expectations. They took excellent care of us throughout our stay. I would have gladly given this experience a full 5-star rating, but unfortunately, we didn’t receive the city-view room we had booked. Instead, our room faced the parking lot. To make up for the inconvenience, the hotel offered us a complimentary drink per person each day. However, instead of receiving three drinks daily for our group of three, we were only given two. Despite this issue, Jeremias and Wendy’s outstanding service made our stay memorable.

In general the hotel was clean and they had good service; however, we stayed 3 days and the housekeeper did not do our room because she would showed up in the afternoon when we were already back in the room. It wasn’t until the last day that she explained that if we needed room service to clean in the mornings we would had need to ask the front desk and she would have come and do it in the morning and not in the Afternoon. I think this bit of information would’ve been a lot helpful if they would’ve told us when we checked in and not at the end of our journey.
