Being pet friendly was also a great plus for us because so many people either overcharge or don’t allow you to bring a pet.The gnome home was very clean. I would definitely stay there again and I would recommend it to anyone looking for just a nice getaway. Thank you to James and his family for allowing us to stay in their home.”

“We had a great stay! The cottage was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The walk to the lake was super short and the whole place felt peaceful and cozy. Just note that you need to bring your own sheets and towels. Overall, it was quiet, comfortable, and had that perfect cabin vibe. Highly recommended!”

“Great place for a night. One minor issue we encountered was ran both space heaters on separate outlets (one in bedroom and one in kitchen) and kept popping one of the breakers so we could only run one space heater that was provided. ”

“Perfectly nestled by the waterfall with several varied seating areas by the river to enjoy the sound of falls and the surrounding woods. Private back deck overlooking the river was just the place to sit and enjoy our morning coffee and end-of-day beverage. Cottage was very comfortable and just right for our brief weekend getaway. Hosts were very responsive to the few questions we had. Absolutely would book again.”

“The cabin is so cute and cozy! Very comfortable. We slept great! The neighbors were very friendly and even invited us over! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The lake beach were amazing! We had a wonderful weekend getaway. The hosts are easy to contact. We will stay again! Love love the location! The only downside is there is no lake view from the cottage like we thought but easy lake access. We did not use the hot tub, washer/dryer or fire pit but those are great amenities!
