"We enjoyed this cottage for a fall vacation weekend. It’s a nice two bedroom that easily fit my family of 5. The kitchen was well stocked and we took full advantage of the warm weather for some grilling. There is a pretty view of the lake from the house and a small marsh. It was a short walk down a wooded path to the private waterfront area with a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and a large dock. We sat out on the dock and enjoyed the fall colors around the lake. "We booked the cabin in the woods for family ski/snowboard trip. Crotched mountain was perfect for the kids learning and for us to enjoy as well. The mountain was about 45 minute drive from the cabin. We also were able to skate on the lake which it's a few minutes walk from the cabin. We really enjoyed exploring the farm and meeting the animals. I asked ahead of our stay what they would have available to purchase from the farm and Jenny stocked our fridge with delicious pasture raised meats....

"We had a wonderful stay!!! The home is absolutely perfect, wonderfully decorated (including the owner’s own lovely artwork!) - everything you’d possibly need is there and available to you. My son and his girlfriend kayaked the entire lake and loved it. We all enjoyed the fire pit overlooking the lake, the covered porch and playing several games of pool in the basement. "This our second year at Cape Guinevere, and once again we had a wonderful stay. The house is cozy and well equipped, and really just perfect for our family to gather for meals, walks around Lancelot Shores, and of course for fires around the fire pit. It is close to Rochester and stores but we felt like we had our own private getaway in the woods. We’d go back again in a heartbeat!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful log cabin on the pond with all emenities you could need and wonderfully furnished. The owners thought of everything you could need. We stayed for a weekend with family for an SNHU graduation and wish we could have stayed longer. We will have to return again when it is warmer and can enjoy the pond, dock, paddle boat, canoe and just sitting on the deck to enjoy the view. Our family really enjoyed all the board games and dart board... some great family...

"Wonderful cottage in a quiet neighborhood on a nice little lake. It is a great setting and was perfect for us to decompress after spending holiday festivities with family.
