We just had a really great stay at AR 218, we loved the neighborhood, it was nestled between restaurants and coffee shops just steps away . close to everything, our Uber rides to monuments and museums were only a few dollars, great location. Overall the property was pretty quiet throughout the day and evening. Property had security 24/7 in the lobby area and check in and out was a breeze with email code . Our room specifically was very spacious, larger than I thought, bathroom was clean and spacious. Our only complaint is that our room which faced the window got really hot as soon as the sun came up and throughout the day, even with the blackout curtain drawn it was hot and the AC units didn’t keep up. I’m normally cold and I broke a sweat doing my hair and getting ready for the day, temps during our stay were mid 40s in the morning and 70s ish mid day; just something to be mindful of if booking during even hotter months. Overall, a great stay and we plan on coming back.

This place worked very well for us, just avoid the restaurant Botanica across the street as it was very disappointing. The Starbucks in the lobby was a pleasant surprise.

This property is fantastic, walkable neighborhood with incredible amount of restaurant options. Property is clean, cozy, chic with a Starbucks right in the lobby. I would only want to stay there when visiting mexico city.

AR 218 Hotel is a lovely place to stay in the Condesa neighborhood of Mexico City. We were a large group, and needed 3 separate rooms. Each came with a small living room, a kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. Coffee in the AM was a cinch because Starbucks is right there. Julio and Laura took care of our requests quickly. They were able to even arrange a tour to the pyramids. The only visible employees were the security guards in the lobby and the housekeeping staff. The roof top garden was a fantastic delight. The 10-digit door entry code got tiresome. My phone kept dying, so I kept mine on a scrap of paper. All communication with Julio and Laura was via e-mail -- a bit impersonal in my opinion. However, I'd return next time I'm in Mexico City and definitely recommend staying at AR 218.

Apartment was very beautiful, clean comfortable. Very walkable safe area. Staff and manager were exceedingly helpful. Would highly recommend staying here if you want a nice spot in Condesa.

Location is amazing! However, shower doesn’t drain, a/c is locked at 20o Celsius and unless you want to be told by hotel manager Julia to move hotels if you’re not pleased, I wouldn’t stay here. No front desk- only a security guard working 48 hour shifts. Also, Expedia’s support around this is as good as nothing - 72 hrs and no follow back

Our stay was perfect! Absolutely beautiful and quiet. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The owners were very responsive for any need. Very safe and clean.
