Big convenient hotel but definitely need some cosmetic care such ass new clean curtains, sturdy beds, updated tubs/ shower, and a phone to contact the front desk, and the lobby bathroom was horrible even saw a roach in there. The parking was wonderful and free, the view was good, like that it has appliances, and the linen and towels were clean and the staff were nice

A very decent property. The long and unclear check-in experience was relieved somewhat by very courteous security agents. The room was cozy with a wonderful view. An attractive and clean property with some modernizations. Elevator operations seem easy enoungh from the lobby, but are a bit confusing from upstairs. I didn't notice an abundance of chairs for the beach or poolside (perhaps stored away). The area is quite nice, however relatively remote from dining & shopping. There is a mini plaza in the LL, perhaps meant to address this. Despite several vacancies it does offer a spa and a convenience store. I imagine the end of the pandemic accompanied with improved weather might boost the experience.

It was a great experience! I was able to celebrate my birthday alongside family and friends. The BEST thing was that the staff wasn't obsessed about wearing masks, I felt FREE for change

Horrible experience!
Hotels.com advertised the layout having a separate living room- this was completely false as it was one single room. I chose the hotel based on this. I paid a higher rate to be able to change my reservation up until a day before the check in date. When I tried to change my reservation two weeks before to arrive one day later, I was unable to and was charged for the extra night but plus the resort fee. I made numerous calls to hotels.com and sent several letters and the matter was not addressed. The hotel offered no cleaning service all week and there was hardly anyone at reception. My experience using hotels.com was horrible and I am terribly disappointed with customer service.

Customer service was horrible. When I needed to talk to someone, no one would be at the front desk. The gym was closed so I was not able to work out as planned. The room was dirty the sheets and pillows had stains on them.

The property was close to Ocean and had a pool as well. The view from the room was nice especially at night. The property is undergoing renovations and i guess our room was not one that had been renovated. The bathroom was sub par with need of an overhaul and the furniture was well worn. The property also charges to store luggage if you are waiting for your transport to airport.

Everyone was very rude from valet parking to the front desk . The beds , pillows and bed covers were the most cheapest qualities I ever slept in it. I also did not get a room cleaning during my four days of staying, I went to front desk and ask for more clean towels and their response was the my room was not included . I never stayed in a room with a poor service

Dirty and very disappointing
Stayed for 1 night, next day left for Florida Keys for a week stay. Would have been very disappointed to have to stay here for a week. Dirty, not a lot of restaurants nearby, sketchy neighborhood, meh......,,I wouldn’t even use the shower, it was pretty bad- Eroded tub, hair on the floor, moldy-just yuck.

So many hidden fees. Went to Miami for a bachelorette party and the stay was blah. Says free parking yet charged our friends who drove $36 a day and could not access their own car. If they needed anything out of their car they would charge them for it. Theres a $250 security fee that we didnt know of until we got in. Needed more toilet paper and only gave us a roll for 5 people for a few days. Told us it was their last one. Their complimentary breakfast was 2 hotels down and needed an invitation to be seated. Shower water was either freezing cold or extremely hot no in between. Took 30 minutes just to get our car from the valet during the day. Valet was the only option.

I only like Acess to the beach . i didnt like the $250 deposit. The $25 plus tax everyday "resort fee". No breakfast. No daily housekeeping. If you staying there multiple days. I like the free valet parking.i like the pool

This was about 15 min from the South Beach fun- so not too expensive to Uber places. We loved being right on the beach and easy access to ocean. The pool and bathrooms in lobby etc seemed very run down and definitely not like a nice hotel resort like the ones down the beach and that’s what we were hoping for. For the price, I expected a nice resort hotel and this was more like an apartment Air b n b. No room service etc. All people were families and kids there on vacation - cheaper family place for vacation would be best way to describe.

HORRIBLE All The Way AROUND!
This was probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. First of the staff was VERY rude! Then when I booked my room the pictures on the website look NOTHING like what the actual rooms look like! The air condition was broken and the toilet was just running and broken as well and the room has a really weird smell. The sheets has some brown looking stuff on them like old blood and there was a dead big in the window. I was very disappointed and upset and was given an attitude by the staff so I decided to leave after about an hour and was not able to receive a refund of the room or the resort fee that I had to pay. Don't waste your money you WILL be disappointed.

Signage not displayed outside the property; was told by the hispanic male front desk worker there was no Wifi in the lobby however, later discovered there was lobby wifi w/pw posted at the front desk. My lactating friend was told there was outlets in the lobby bathroom she could use for her breast pump; but that was untrue.Upon checkin at the room the keys would not work. Maintenance was sent to change the batteries in the lock but did not get completed until the next shift. there were no telephones in the room to call front desk; wifi was horrible to use ur own phone in the room. there was constant running back n forth downstairs. We paid a daily resort fee but received no housekeeping; no airport shuttle; renovations; wash rags werent initially provided and received nothing free during the stay so still trying to figure out what that was for. ONLY good part was our view.

The hotel staff was generally unorganized. I went back and forth with staff during my entire stay just to get towels. Everytime i asked. Or if asked forSomething GWU would refer me to another room. Only one giel Know There’s several properties located in one building. The rooms look like college dorms with queen beds hence the name Collins apartments. There was no room service or even basic room cleaning provided which is highly needed consider it’s directly near the beach. But the views from within are great ..yeah after work.

Checked in on Friday 4/20. The Pros: our view of the beach was amazing!!! Now the Cons: My first impression walking into the room was not good. The room needs to be painted and cleaned. The windows were dirty! The mattresses are not comfortable and loud. The plumbing needs to be redone!! Everytime someone flushed the toilet you can hear it running through the walls. We were given a login for the wifi to our room which did not work so we had to connect to a different room's internet. The tv did not work properly so we had to have maintenance come in. He was able to fix the tv and told us that the user name and login for the internet were completing different than what we were given. Right before maintenance left the room we noticed water was leaking from the vents and from underneath the sink on the bathroom floor, so i asked him to check it. He didnt check the bathroom, but did something to the vent and the water stopped leaking for a little while then started back. I just put towels on the floor to get up the water. Housekeeping never showed up to clean our room. The tub was not appealing Out check out i asked to pay the resort fees in cash insteaf of having it charged to my card anf was told that i couldn't do that, so we asked for a receipt of all charges anf we were told that they "think" Expedia would send us the receipt since thats how we paid for the room even though we paid resort fees to the actually hotel. Was not happy at all with our stay at the location, bu
