Nice hotel but old rooms

The lobby and dining area of this hotel is very nice but the rooms have an odd mixture of old and new. I stayed in a suite and was underwhelmed. The rooms definitely need a facelift and could be cleaned more thoroughly

Upscale Airport Hotel

Pros: Close to airport with a free shuttle every 30 minutes.
Cons: Fresh flowers, a welcome gift, slightly more individualised rooms. I wish there were a way to have fresh air in the rooms.
Location: Near the airport. Unless you have a car, there's not a whole lot going on.
I was looking for a hotel near Miami International Airport and chose the Pullman, mainly because I had stayed here when the property was a Sofitel. Although both Sofitel and Pullman are Accor brands, Pullman is more of a business travellers hotel, less of a luxury, vacation hotel like a Sofitel. So, while it was clean and orderly, the Pullman is certainly less exciting and welcoming. The staff were all pleasant, but I had my heart set on that upscale vacation hotel hospitality. The bottom line is that it's just another airport hotel. Next time, will stay closer to Miami or Miami Beach for a more joyous experience and take a taxi or Lyft to the airport.

I stayed for 3 days the hotel is beautiful the only thing that I can say is they forgot to clean my room one day even I asked to the frontdesk. The food was good.

Never Again

Before I arrived the hotel had already held one nights stay from my cc so to my knowledge I thought they would have deducted that amount from the remaining balance but no. When we arrived it took us 3 hrs to check in and they swiped my card twice and overdrawing that card. I had to but the remaining balance on another card. The security deposit was 200 dollars when most hotels is 100 mind you this isn't my first time traveling to Miami. We ended up checking in but now I had to deal with the fact that this hotel held a substantial amount of money for the remaining of the trip. One morning the fire alarm went off in our room and another night we had no running water. We called asking what the issue was and the front desk response was they're working on the pipes there's nothing they can do about it we had figured most ppl would be sleeping by now. Like what we're in Miami where everything closes at 5am. Now we're at the end of our 4 nights stay and it's time to check out. The lady asked us how would we like to pay and for our cc. I couldn't believe it, why do you need my card again when you've alrdy swiped it 2x at the beginning of our stay and all that info should have alrdy been in the system. When checking out of a hotel they charge you at the end of your stay but also they don't ask you for a cc again. We went back and forth with this lady for over 2hrs and also spoke with the head of the hotel who didn't care. Finally the accountant came up and resolve our headache.

Awful experience

Awful experience. Got to the hotel around 1030 at night after traveling all day and was assigned a room on the sixth floor. Open the room and they were eight suitcases in their. call down to the desk and we were given a room on the second floor next to all of the conference rooms. The shower didn’t drain, the coffee pot was missing, and I paid $190 for the room! Try to negotiate a discount to no avail .

Easy and quick access from airport

Cons: Room housekeeping may need some attention as bathroom towels were not adequately provided at the time of check in.
Location: Walking distance to grocery stores and food providers
Early check in without paying extra. Hotel is close to airport with good shuttle service. Good experience to first time visitor.

Convenience +

Pros: Convenience cannot be beat.
Cons: Although we turned off our air conditioner, the room remained cooler than we would have preferred.
Location: We didn't venture out at all and even had a very pleasant meal at the hotel.
We chose the Pullman as a meeting place for a family get together with my brother and family who was flying into Miami before leaving on a cruise. It all worked out well but I would have liked to be able to get dinner or heavy appetizers before 6 p.m. The kids were flying and skipped lunch so they were starving. Also, the piped in music was way too annoying and loud all over including the outdoor pool area. Other than those 2 issues, we enjoyed our stay.

Close to the airport
