Nice base for a quick Milano visit

Great apartment close to railway station.
We had a week in the apartment which was very comfortable. Everything in the apartment met the descriptions in the VRBO advertisement. The apartment is walking distance from the railway station making it easy for travellers without a car. Kitchen has everything you need including full size fridge. Beds are very comfortable. Location to other facilities such as supermarket is also a bonus. Whilst apartment is on the fourth floor there is a lift in the building. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment

Our stay
Seamless arrival but we we not quite sure how to gain entry at first. However a resident allowed us access and from then on everything was just great. Super clean and well stocked with lots and lots of towels. Lovely terrace for taking coffee in the mornings. Perfect location for catching the metro system and only a mere five minute walk to Stazione Centrale. Short and fairly inexpensive cab rides from downtown should you miss the closing of the Metro system . Quiet neighbourhood with many diverse ethic eateries. Would very much recommend this property for an extended stay in Milano ! We were here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much !! Ciao !! Kevin and Jamie

Beautiful apartment, convenient location
We had a short stop in Milan. The apartment was close to the train station & easy bag storage in local shop. Communication was excellent. There's a great little shop downstairs for wine, snacks etc. The proprietor, Pasquale was a pleasure! I would highly recommend this rental. Bed was comfortable. Accomodations spacious. Lovely. A vintage apartment within walking distance of the train station and shopping. It was very easy to get to and from where we wanted to go. Our hosts were always answered any questions we had promptly. We felt very safe and secure. The apartment has air conditioning- an added bonus during the heat of the summer! We enjoyed our four nights here!

Very Nice
Really felt lost in Milan in general. The other stops we made on our journey the owner met with us when we arrived and told us of things to do and in one case very good restaurants. The neighborhood where the unit is was very convenient to the train station but looked in general that it could be concerning. We visited Naviglio Grande which was not very impressive and then the Duomo which of course is impressive. We found that the restaurants of The Kitchen very near by and Tavola Calda were very nice. At Tavola we were able to get an American Breakfast which was great.

Cute apartment ideally placed for City transport network
Nice apartment with cute little balcony to enjoy a glass of wine on in the evening. Close to Milan Centrale station which has bus links to Linate and Malapense airport. Two Metro stations within 5 mins walk, supermarket and shopping street within the same distance. Only 4 Metro stops from Duomo. Would definitely stay here again

Wonderful Stay in Milan
We enjoyed our stay in this cute apartment in Milan. It was in the perfect area near many restaurants and site seeing places, as well as walking distance to the train and the subway stations. Gianluca was extremely helpful with any questions we had prior to our arrival and made special accommodations to store our luggage, since we had arrived early before the 2:00 p.m. check in. The apartment was clean and well kept and the beds were very comfortable.

The Perfect Milan Apartment!
I spent 26 days in Italy and this was my favorite Home Away apartment. The apartment was very large, modern, super clean, and in an extremely secure building with a lift. The neighbors were friendly and the location could not have been better for day trips, the Metro, restaurants, Central Station, and stores for this solo traveler. Giulia & Gianluca go out of their way to take care of their guests. There is nothing I would change to improve my stay. Traveler's Tip - There is a Wind cell phone store in Central Station. PAM grocery store for organic / bio and regular food -- walk toward the pharmacy, turn left and walk to the next or second traffic light [you will see another pharmacy on the corner across the street]. Cross the street and the PAM grocery store is on the corner across from the pharmacy. Thank you again Giulia & Gianluca.

Very conveniently located clean and spacious flat close to transport.
We had four wonderful days in Milan, not nearly enough time to see and do everything. This flat is spacious and clean, very close to easy to use transport and only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the main station, where you can easily catch trains or bus to the airport. We also had a day out to Lake Como which was easily done from the main station. Everyone should visit the Duomo and go up to the roof, it's absolutely amazing. Loved the quaint lift in the building, would definitely recommend this flat to anyone wanting to visit Milan.

Great central location! Wonderful flat!
We loved the flat in Milan -- very clean and spacious, with a wonderful balcony and view of the street below. The location is perfect, close to coffee, shops, restaurants and the Milano Centrale Train Station. There's even a Tuesday open air market just one block away. Loved it!

Lovely apartment in a well tended apartment building. Safe, secure and well located. The apartment is sleek, stylish and has a small balcony so you can enjoy eating al fresco. The apartment and linens were spotlessly clean. If we were being critical the apartment could do with new wine glasses (there were three, each one different) and the info pack was pretty limited, but otherwise the apartment was great. We'd happily stay again. The restaurant 'Mediterranea' just round the corner is highly recommended.

Lovely, well situated apartment.
We were met and shown around by the caretaker. He explained everything. Apartment’s pictures in my opinion do not do it justice. It is airy, clean and spacious. Facilities were great. Parking at a cost was available on the street- perfectly safe. Only issue would be communication - I contacted the owner twice and so did my brother regarding leaving luggage somewhere as he had a late flight and had no response whatsoever . That was disappointing, but apart from that it is an excellent place to stay and explore Milan. Thank you!

Roomy and convenient accommodations for a family of five.
We spent four days and three nights in the apartment. Our family of five includes three children, ages 12, 9, and 5. The booking process was smooth and simple. The owners responded quickly and answered my questions thoroughly. We found the building easily, and following the directions emailed to me prior to arrival, we were soon at the front door of the apartment. We were met by a caretaker whose English was sufficient to show us around the apartment. The apartment is serviced by a small, old fashioned elevator quite different from anything in the United States. My kids were fascinated by it. The owners offered a garage parking spot available for an extra fee. I was able to find street parking within a block of the apartment. There are parking ticket machines along the streets where you pay and get your display ticket. One thing to watch out for is the bi-weekly open air market. Some of the spots are reserved for vendors on those days and you will get a ticket. We ate and prepared most of our meals in the apartment with no issues. The dishwasher and washing machine were used thoroughly with no issues. Leaving the door to the washing machine open when not in use helped alleviate the smell reported in another review. It was unusually hot in Milano during our stay. The air conditioning worked hard, but kept the apartment comfortable. The location is very good. My five year old was able to make the walk to the Duomo, but we took the Metro on the way back after filling up on pizza. There are multiple Metro stops within a few blocks. We did walk through the neighborhood late in the evening and I did not feel that our safety was at risk. Corso Buenos Aires has plenty of shopping, markets, and pharmacies. A couple of days each week there is a large open air market in the park behind the apartment. Even if you don't purchase anything, it's still an experience to walk through. I researched the location of the apartment and transportation options prior to booking. We made a side trip to Rome on TrenItalia Frecciarossa. There were no surprises for things like taxi fares or how close the train station is. Milano is a fantastic city and you will be well served to stay in this apartment.

It was ok.
We only stayed for a night. The internet did not work well and the washing machine smelled a little funny and made clothes smell funny too. It is close to train station but not close to airport. It was an $80 taxi ride to airport and we had to walk to train station to get a taxi to take us to the airport.

The house is in city center, and, as normal, the international airport is out of the city.. I proposed him to book a car with a driver to go to the airport at the same taxi fare, (I do it for many guests, it is really convenient when you are many people) but Ryan preferred to take the taxi. From the station you can also take a train which with 10 € brings you directly to the airport. The problem with the drawer was caused by a drainage failure, which is now perfectly repaired, thank you for reporting!

A comfy convenient rental, near Milano Central station and the red and green Metro lines. For travelers who don't mind being a bit outside the tourist throng, this is a well appointed choice at a good value, a brief Metro ride or half hour walk from main attractions. Neighborhood: 2 blocks off a main shopping street -- Corso Buenos Aires-- in easy walking distance of transportation, banking, good restaurants( del Treno, Angolo d'Abruzzo, Carpaccio), pizza, gelati, fast food, clothes, trinkets, etc. We did not feel any lack of safety in what seems a mostly residential area with a main commercial street. The building itself has two locked doors and a friendly concierge. There is some street noise, even at night. The Apartment: As decribed/pictured. 4th floor/ elevator. A bit sparse on furnishings, but uncluttered is good, IMHO. Roomy for a couple, but probably also okay for a family with one or two small children or a party of as many as four young people who are easy with one another. A bedroom with a good closet and comfy "matrimonial" bed, a bathroom with a tub/shower (sunflower head) and large medicine cabinet, and good sized living-dining-kitchen area, with a table for 4, a 2-or-3-seater sleep sofa, a large flatscreen TV, a dual-fuel range, clothes washer and dishwasher. No manuals for washer or dishwasher but operation was straightforward and worked fine. For those intent on cooking, beware the lack of a microwave and the cast-off kitchenware, but basic meals at home are still manageable. Large fridge/freezer. Controlling the temperature of the small-capacity, on-demand water heater was a bit tricky. Linens were of medium quality, but lots of them. Numerous leftover kitchen provisions and bath toiletries ought to be culled. No views from the narrow balcony, but it's pleasant in good weather, faces east for morning sun. Windows w/blackout metal shutters. Independent HVAC. Good internet connection. Management: Owners were genial and responsive by email before the rental and during and after arrival (we requested a kitchen item that was delivered with an hour). We were met by the owners' agent, who was perhaps not quite up on the apartment features, but affable and attentive. In sum, we were quite satisfied with this accommodation and recommend it. (Two notes: -- I'm a long-time VRBO renter (15+ yrs) mostly in Italy, Spain and DC, USA. -- 4 stars is intended to be relative to choices comparable in price and amenities

Beautiful apartment and great location
We were so happy with our stay here. The owners were very helpful making sure we could find our way there, were familiar with the accommodations and knew how to get to the market, the Duomo and other big attractions in Milan. And the location is perfect as it is right off of Buenos Aires Blvd which leads you there. The apartment itself is spacious with great artwork and a balcony where we enjoyed our dinners. The kitchen has everything you need to make some memorable meals and also appreciated use of the washing machine for our going on 2 week old laundry. We fell in love with Milan, it's beautiful parks and architecture and history. Staying in this very comfortable and convenient home made our visit even more enjoyable and memorable. Many thanks!

A great little apartment in the heart of Milan
We enjoyed our time at this apartment. Plenty of space with the fold out couch and separate bedroom. It is within walking distance of the major sights and shopping and just a block or so to several Metro lines and the train station. We were delighted to have a local street market just around the corner.

Great Location! Pleasant apartment!
My husband and I stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our two weeks in Italy and 3 nights at the end of our stay. Giulia and Gianluca were very responsive throughout the inquiry and reservation process, and pleasant to work with. They set up an early morning taxi to the airport for our final departure, which was extremely helpful. The apartment is located within easy walking distance to Central Station for coming into and out of Milan on the train and the metro stop there as well as the Caizzo metro stop, made it easy to get to the 'places' of Milan. We chose this apartment because it was a block from where our daughter was staying for college, but it turned out that we loved being out of the main tourist core of Milan, but found it easy to get there and back without and difficulty on the metro. We also found the best food. of great food on our two weeks in Italy was just a block from the apartment at Noblesse Oblige - we made sure to eat at this lovely family owned restaurant during both our stays. The apartment is up five flights or stairs. however there is a small (quaint) open elevator that does the job for getting luggage, and tired bodies at the end of a long day of walking, up to the apartment. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable, and the couch in the living room fit the two of us and was a nice respite at the end of the day. We didn't use the kitchen much, it appeared adequate for simple food preparation. The apartment suited our need for the two stays we had there, it was clean and open and bright with high ceiliings and plenty of room for the two of us. I imagine it would be fine with two others, who are comfortable on a fold out couch. Unfortunately, on our second stay, the neighbors were remodeling and what sounded like jack-hammers started way too early in the morning, just on the other side of the bedroom. Hopefully the project will be completed soon for future travelers. As with quaint apartments in older buildings, the wood floor in the main room squeaked late at night late at night & we worried about bothering other tenants when walking across , but since we did not hear other tenants at all (with the expectation of the unusual remodel racket), the building seemed pretty sound proof inside, although street noise of occasional sirens, as is any city apartment, was noticeable at times. The weather was cold during our stay, but we liked the small balcony &the ability to step into the cool night air.

Such a lovely apartment. Very sunny and airy and large. Much bigger than expected. Centrally located -- about a 15 minute walk from the Milan Central train station and a couple of blocks to the red Metro line (a short ride to the Duomo). Giulia provides everything you need and is very responsive to requests. When I couldn't find the light switch to the bathroom which was hidden by the bathroom door, she responded immediately. Another good thing is that, even though the apartment is on the 4th floor (or fifth to Americans), there is an elevator. Only negative is the street noise, which quieted down by bedtime. We would stay here again if we ever return to Milan.

The owners were very accommodating. Apartment was about a 10 minute walk from the train station with luggage. It is a very large 1 bedroom apartment. Really liked that there was no carpet, but wood floors. It was as advertised. Close to shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend .

GREAT flat in Milan
Firstly, the host and Pasquale, the caretaker, were incredibly kind, commutative, and helpful before and during my stay. Pasquale helped book a car for us to the airport and answered questions promptly along the way. The flat is bright, has high ceilings, incredibly well maintained, and well designed. Bed was comfy, linens good, wifi strong. Great view from balcony, and it's in a lovely and safe neighborhood. It's a great value for the money, I feel lucky to have found it on very short notice.

Modern, clean, close to train station and metro--a great way to see Milan.
The apartment covers all the bases, including great transportation, good restaurants, grocery, elevator, and air conditioning (if needed, but apartment was cool and airy for us the last week of May). But the most important reason to stay in this apartment is Giulia and Gianluca. They are great hosts who are going to help you every step of the way.

Very nice place, clean, well supplied.
We were there for 3 days and really liked our location. There were very good restaurants to eat at and we were within 10 minutes of train station. Julia and her husband were very nice to deal with since my wife accidently blew the breakers and they came right over to fix it. We were more than pleased with our stay and service. Our weather was bad but that's not in their control🙂

Great stay in Milan
We had a great time at this location in Milan. We were there with our kids (3 from 7 to 12). The apartment was great and the location perfect in this quiet neighborhood near central station, many restaurants amenities and shopping. Less then 10 minutes walk to the red line subway station (Lima) which took us to the Expo. The apartment is fill with little attentions and details that make the stay this much more enjoyable. Everything functioned well and the place was impeccably clean. Plenty of everything on hand including maps and a book full of local attractions or amenities. Thank you for a great set=up.
