Country setting
Loved the Sugar Shack, beautifully decorated and very clean. Host was a pleasure to work with and offered us fresh eggs. Loved watching the horses grazing! Wonderful weekend get away!

Enjoyed my stay. Cottage is a short trip down a dirt road, and is well separated from the neighbors. Very clean, modern and well appointed. Host was very responsive to my questions.

Wonderful Experience
I chose to leave my home on August 29 since Hurricane Idelia appeared to be on a path to my front door. I looked for a place where I would be safe from the worst of the hurricane and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful and would allow me to bring my pet dogs. What fabulous luck I had when I found the Sugar Shack on vrbo. This cottage was perfect as it met all of my goals/requirements, and much more. The interior decor was outstanding!! The hosts had done a great design on the cozy cottage; several unique features were incorporated into the floor plan and the layout made the smallish building seem more spacious. The host had provided everything we needed to make the place feel just like home. Robyn told us to let her know if we needed anything, and I know that she would have, but since absolutely everything was already in the cottage, I did not have to ask for anything. I did have to impose on her when I learned that the hurricane had taken my electricity down at home. I had only reserved the place for Tuesday night and Wednesday night, so I could not return home if there was no power. Robyn immediately agreed to let me stay another night, and went to great lengths to work out the process for completing the process. I have abandoned my home on several occasions when a hurricane is heading toward my home, but this was definitely the best escape experience I have had. It was SO peaceful that it was easy to forget about the weather and watch the super blue moon.

Very Clean, relaxing, quiet and well maintained property. Owners were extremely responsive and quick when we needed help with the Tv and internet. A/C worked very well, we were there the hottest day of the year, 103 plus degrees!! Bedroom and bathroom were outstanding!

A Little Extra
It has a great country cottage appeal. It was mostly clean except for a clump of hair in the shower and there was a need for the areas around the night stands in the bedroom to be cleaned. Just a little extra cleaning there and it would be perfect. Everything else was spic-n-span.

We had a wonderful stay. We needed a place for the night while we had our house cleaned and photographs taken so we could put it on the market. Our 2 year old loved watching the horses and the dog enjoyed the big fenced in yard to run around. Robyn was so wonderful to deal with and very responsive.

Perfect getaway! Only ~40min away from Pensacola and roughly 15min from Milton. Nice and calm environment and at the same time close to various restaurants in Milton. Good cell phone reception!! (T-Mobile) We really enjoyed it!

Fantastic Cottage
This was a beautifully maintained cottage in a really nice setting, I loved seeing the horses and cows. I had a very long drive in and Robyn helped get me good essentials so I could rest and recharge during my stay. I appreciated that so very much. I also had my 2 dogs with me - they loved being able to run in the yard (especially after the long drive) and it was nice to be able to play. The shower and bath are amazing, the bed is comfy and the living room/kitchen is perfect. I would recommend staying here and would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful memories create here
We were in town for a short visit to attend our son's selection of what aircraft he will be flying in the Marine Corp. Cute cottage that was very clean and lovely. A great fenced-in backyard that our dog loved. He also loved befriending the sweet horses and cows along the fence. It was so much fun to watch. Also, my son and his fellow marine buddies came over to enjoy the firepit in the evening. Robyn was kind enough to check in to ensure we had enough firewood. It was a great stay. It was nice to listen to all the stories being told around the fire pit, creating wonderful memories. Thank you for a great visit!

The cottage was as described and adorable. However, the description of "kayak on site" and that the property is on the river is misleading as we never saw a river and there was no kayaking on site. The pictures show a dock and the lake but what isn't mentioned is that it's a 20 minute car drive away and costs an extra $100 a day. That part of the amenities was not sent until after booking.

Well Done!
There simply aren’t enough words to adequately describe this property. We were impressed from the very second we opened the door. Every single detail is TOP NOTCH! There is a lot of TLC that went into making this property more than just your ordinary rental. We only wish we had stayed longer (just an overnight trip through the area). The hostess is delightful and we loved her cows too ❤️ There is absolutely no doubt that we will be back!
