Great Sand Dunes Lodge

"They provided a breakfast in their small office. Rooms were air conditioned. Room was clean and provided a large size refrigerator with a freezer. My only complaint is we were in room 16 by the office and the outdoor light was on and light came into the room from the front window. They need to add a room darkening curtains. Sometime during the night the light did go out."

"The couple days I spent here were an absolute blessing. The cabin was perfect, clean, and very remote, just as advertised. John and Lynn are the best hosts and the property is a gift from God Himself. I will be staying here again! Thank you so much!!"

"The nicest people work here! Great bonfire and s’mores at night and burritos for breakfast. Such a wonderful location for dark skies view and very close to Great Sands NP."

"Frontier Drive-In was hands-down the coolest place we stayed during our entire 3 1/2 week trip! Everything was exceptionally clean, and the décor was absolutely perfect and stylish. It was unique while still feeling warm and homey. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, and the entire property was so much fun to explore. There isn’t much nearby, so I would recommend eating or picking up food before arriving. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend it!"

"The property was as described—I didn’t read closely—no dishwasher and not listed in amenities ( referenced in email check out process) my fault and took daughters back to older days—no a/c but fans that worked for night and fortunately spent most days away from rental. With minor exceptions the house worked well for what we needed (6 bedroom and game room—grill. Be sure to bring all food supplies—store across the street limited supplies and more limited hours of operation"
