Condo was clean but old. Bathrooms were very small. Couch needs replacing. Property owner was great. They need to upgrade & redo some areas. April Sound is beautiful. Right on the lake.

Fantastic Stay
Our stay was fantastic at this location. Charles was a wonderful person to have as a host and addressed any need that we had immediately. The townhome is in a very convenient area and we enjoyed everything about our stay!

Great getaway
We enjoyed this condo! The location was great. The access to the pool was a big bonus. Our son had fun fishing from the boardwalk which was super close to the unit.

I stayed for 2 weeks and everything was as advertised. The condo was spacious. It had everything I needed to live comfortably. Internet worked flawlessly, TV worked well, showers & bathrooms had everything needed to make the stay enjoyable. Only issue was at check in. The guard house did not know who I was when checking in and sent me down to the clubhouse telling me someone there would meet me. No one was there so I called owner and he checked me into the place. Guard house needs to know who is coming and where they are staying as apparently there are a # of properties that someone could stay at. After there for a day I think it would be easy to indentify the property that your going to as they are all very well marked. Guard house should know this.

Close to HCA Conroe hospiral
My dad was hospitalized at HCA Conroe hospital and this was a perfect place to be close to family and hospital with a beautiful calm setting.

Lots of potential
This location had lots of potential as a space with lots of windows and spacious rooms. Decorated nicely. Needs a bit of TLC. Staying in a bottom floor apartment or condo is always fraught with the noise of footsteps above, of course, but an overall nice space.

In town for family event
My husband, teenager, and parents (5 total) stayed at the Eastlands’ condo. The pictures are accurate and the space was clean. The guys golfed and we ordered food from a neighborhood pizza spot (delicious)! We walked around the marina and got ice cream at Marble Slab. The rooms are very functional and location is terrific. I agree with several other reviews that the furnishings are a bit dated and could use a refresh. However, it suited our needs for the weekend.

Great location, but outdated
At first looked great, I already read about the hard bed on a review, but it was harder than what I thought, and the rest of the place it's very, very outdated, it's like stepping in the 1970s or 80s. The first time I called the owner for a parking pass,, they responded quick but when we called again for some issues with the kitchen lights flickering and about the master bathroom tub (it wouldn't drain) it was gross to shower with water up to my ankles, there were not response. Also the dryer would not stop, very dangerous, first time we used it, put in laundry, set it for 30 minutes, then went to an Astros game, when we came back it was still running, 5 hours later. The location was great and the neighborhood awesome though.

Family Visit
This was a perfect place for us to stay while visiting our daughter who lives on Cove Circle. Parking is a little tight on her street and being so close to her made it easy for them to pick us up. It was nice to get up in the morning, have coffee, and just chill out, and to come back to for the evening.

Perfect for a stay at a country club property
This 2 bdrm condo is in the perfect area for a family to enjoy all that April Sound offers. Close to restaurants, shopping and water sports the only improvement I would make is in the king bed mattress as it is super firm. The furnishings are comfortable and as described in the pictures, clean, although a bit dated. No surprises here and the owner couldn't be nicer!

Owner responded quickly except for the "biggie". The mattress on the king bed was the hardest i have ever seen. Owner was sent a text the morning after we checked in and he did not respond. All 4 in the group were over 68 years old. The 2 that had the king bed slept 2 out of the 3 nights on the couch.

We had some trouble getting in the complex with our second car pass for my son and daughters car. Be sure to tell them When renting how many passes you will need. Managers responded quickly. We were A little out out by the TV repair that was scheduled while we were there and the Termite inspection. We were on vacation and really didn’t want to be bothered with it. In addition the TV was never fully repaired. The dryer does not shut off so you can’t leave if your doing laundry. We did not think the cleaning was up to our standards with paying a fee. The King size bed is really hard. All in all it was a great location and we enjoyed the convenience of being so close to our family. Well stocked and friendly managers willing to help.

Good stay; like the location.
Walking distance to pool and club house. Internet was a little fickle at times. Cable TV was limited and seemed like one of the old legacy cable systems on their way out, but I used my own streaming stick most of the time anyway. Loved the hills around April Sound for jogging - great workouts! Lots of space inside. Never felt cramped. Owner was very easy to work with.

We had a great time at this ideal location in April Sound. Within walking distance to pool, clubhouse, tennis/pickleball courts and boat ramp. This condo is exceptionally clean!!! It is beautifully decorated yet also spacious. We will definitely stay here again!!

We stayed a month while house hunting in the area, it was clean, good location at a beautiful resort. It was well equipped with a washer and dryer, everything needed for a long stay. Our host was well informed and able to answer any questions and make suggestions about the area.

Great for longer stays
The owners are attentive, and very friendly. Stayed here while mom was at Conroe Regional Hospital. 10-12 min drive to hospital to visit her, and family could fly in and out and stay at the condo with me as needed. So much better than a hotel. Everything you need to have the comfort of home. All three beds were comfortable, condo was spotless, AC worked great, owners answered their phone when we had questions. I’ve made some great friends in the community already, and I will be back for my next extended stay to see my mama in the hospital. Thank you, Charles!

April Sound Condo
Condo was as shown in pictures and perfect for our stay. We are two lady golfers that were here to play the TSWGA tournament at April Sound CC and really enjoyed having Mr. Eastland's condo for a week. He always returned my text or calls quickly. He had returned my security deposit by the afternoon we checked out. I would definitely rent from him again!

Nice property. Very clean. Thanks for the complimentary bottle of wine. Loved it and wound up buying several other bottles of the same brand. Only suggestion is more drawer space in the bedrooms for clothes. Enjoyed our stay.

Condo was clean, comfortable, quiet and very welcoming. Appreciated the unexpected provisions including water bottles, shampoo, body wash, dish and laundry detergent. Owner was excellent about responding to my emails/calls within 24 hours and adjusting our dates when we needed to. We will definitely re-book when in the neighborhood.

Great Location, Great Unit....Even Better Owner!!
Great lower level unit, in the back portion of the complex. Very secure area and neighborhood, right down from Country Club. Plenty of space for a family of four, and an enclosed rear patio, that is perfect for cards. Plenty of hot water, towels and dishes. Everything worked perfect, any questions Charles was happy to answer and help with. Refunded the security deposit before we could even get back to San Antonio..... Unit is Right between Conroe and Montgomery, down from Walmart and Kroger. Go to Magnolia Diner for a great lunch or breakfast....go the other way to Pie in the Sky for a great brunch or dinner and OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!! IF WE ARE BACK IN AREA WOULD FOR SURE RENT AGAIN.

Found a new home in Montgomery
We don't visit my sister-in-law at April Sound very often, but we've found a new home away from home when we do. We were there to visit with family so we didn't try the pool or club house, but they are both within walking distance. We were in town along with dozens of extended family, and they all wished they had found this place before we did. The condo is well appointed and well equipped to beat back the summer Texas heat and humidity--loved the AC. Having a second full apartment in the area let us entertain in two venues. My brother and I had birthdays during the stay, so my wife and daughter used the oven to make us each a cake. We'll definitely be return customers when we come to Texas!

Neat , clean two bedrooms 2 bath. Near cubhouse and pool. Fairly close to entrance gate.
Very neat and clean, handy, Owner very helpful and when we had a TV problem, came right away. When it wasn't cable, brought in a new TV immediately. Well equipped with dishes, pans, cooking utensils. Comfortable linens, good AC.

Quiet, comfortable place to call home away from home
What a great place to come home to after a long day at work. Very clean, quiet comfortable place to feel at home. Can't say enough good about property owners, very easy to talk to, helpful, kind and understanding. I can't wait to come back here when I'm not working.

Condo and community were very clean, well-maintained, and relaxing. Disappointed the hot tub/spa next to pool at the Country Club was not in operation. Golf course was very nice and accommodating. As an example, I paid my green fee but on 2nd hole it started raining, fairways were very wet, so I discontinued my play. Talked to manager at Pro Shop about getting green fee back or store credit rather than a "rain check". He gave me the green fee back as credit on my credit card. Very thankful for that. Nice bar and grill at Country Club. Very good phone APP for "HomeAway" rentals.

Great Condo!!
The unit was very clean and the bedrooms were nicely decorated. The unit offered plenty of supplied towels for its guests and it was nice to have an in-unit washer/dryer. The basket with water bottles and candy was a nice treat to guests staying at the unit. The area was quiet and located close to the pool, although we did not use it. The unit offered other appliances such as a coffee maker and toaster, and the owner also supplied dish and hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, paper towels and toilet paper. Excellent Wi-Fi connection.
