Wonderful staff. Some of the most friendly in the Czech Republic. I rarely dine in hotel restaurants but the deer filet in the Winestone restaurant was next level phenomenal. I will 100 percent stay here again if ever in Ostrava.

Good, but not great.
Small, odd shaped room with tiny, not always working TV. Bathroom was very nice. Can't say anything about restaurant, but staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is my second time staying here. The staff is wonderful! The property itself is beautiful. It feels almost like you are staying in an old castle. There is a beautiful old church next door, and, if you are lucky enough to get a room with view of it, you may find yourself just staring out the window for long periods of time. The front doors as you enter are huge, and open automatically, which really only adds to the vibe of an old castle in a movie. There is a little park across the street that I have fallen in love with. It is extremely interesting and picturesque. There is such a wonderful vibe throughout. It is well worth the extra money to get breakfast included, as the buffet is extensive and delicious. A grocery store is only a couple of blocks away if you want to have anything in your room.

Two Nights - no food option taken. Comfortable room with fridge to store food / drink. Nice bathroom, rather mild chemical smell. Window by roadside so some noise, with windows open to let air in it was noisy.

Great Choice!
Wonderful hotel! Nicely renovated 1920's First Republic building gives the hotel a lot of character. Everything about my stay was just right. The hotel is also a great value

Great check in, friendly staff, large rooms with nice views of the town. The breakfast was great, so glad I added it to my reservation. The restaurant served a great lunches (limited menu) and full menu dinner. Short walk to town square, city hall, restaurants and shopping. Short cab ride to Dolni Vitkovice.

Beautiful, older but modernized hotel in the city center, close to restaurants, shops, and a city park. Upgraded privilege rooms come with free mini-bar, upgraded amenities including bathrobes, and 24 hr access to a privilege room with snacks and drinks. The fitness center is inadequate with limited equipment. Onsite Winestone restaurant has excellent food as well as a good breakfast buffet. Recommended for a business stay in Ostrava.

Lovely service with prompt helpful staff. They respond to online communication very quickly. Wonderful location close to the train station, great amenities, and a cozy warm room. Bathroom was impressive and nicely designed. They don't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste, though, and the bed is a tad too firm for my tastes. But otherwise, everything else about my stay was excellent.

Nice hotel close to town centre
We stayed here so I could do business in nearby Pribor and my wife would have a nice hotel. Access to the Privilege Lounge was worthwhile. Car parking was good but paid (not free). Only negative was that the shower is in the bath and the shower head is waist high and cannot be raised.

Nice hotel in downtown Ostrava
We had a great stay with a baby and a dog at this hotel. It’s in a historic building in downtown Ostrava. Parking was very easy and had good buffet breakfast.

Lovely hotel.
Good location, close to centre, but removed enough to be quiet. Walking distance to the train station and Stodolni St. The street in front of the hotel was completely torn up while we were there with no sign of much progress being made, so this was a bit of an unexpected inconvenience. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was great. The onsite bar was lovely.

A really lovely hotel at a good price
Ostrava may not be your first choice for a holiday destination (we were visiting friends locally) but if you're in town, I can't recommend this place too highly. There were road works and a building being renovated opposite, but the actual hotel exceeded expectations. High points - a very wide breakfast selection that included free sparkling white wine, very comfortable bed, excellent soundproofing (they weren't responsible for the roofers opposite starting at 6.45am!) and good blackout blinds. I know that enthusiastice reviews tend to suggest bribery by management, but this is one of those very few reviews where I find it difficult to fault anything. It should be said that we only had breakfasts in the hotel, and that if full there would probably not be enough tables in the restaurant area itself (overspill into bar possible). The lobby would be enhanced by having some material about the local area, maps etc, but these are minor quibbles and the local tourist info centre is only 5 minutes away (bizarrely on an upper floor of the brass tower that is the local landmark). Parking was very good, with easy access and exit, but limited numbers of parking spaces, so organise in advance!
