"I've stayed at this property a number of times over the years. It's an older hotel, with rooms accessed directly from the parking lot. However, the rooms have undergone a facelift, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are clean and quiet. There is only 1 drawback, which has nothing to do with the hotel itself. There is current road construction going on, with the highway department altering a highway exit. This property has a great location, with quick access to the university, WalMart, plenty of eateries, and the main highway. In spite of its proximity to traffic, it was very quiet and my sleep was undisturbed."

"The owners did a fantastic job renovating this old building. Each room is unique and stays with the time period of the building. The community bathrooms provide a unique environment. My daughter and I chatted with such nice ladies as we were going in and out of the bathroom area. It was convenient that there are no specific hours for the breakfast bar. There was a fine variety of easy, make for yourself options. My daughter had yogurt and oatmeal, and I had toasted peanut butter and jelly with coffee, of course. The owner was friendly. "
