This place was not great. No breakfast, even though advertised. Stained towels and bedsheets. Had a BIG spider in the room. Many broken objects in the room (101) from door lock, light fixture, floor moulding, to the shower dripping. While I don't expect 5-star hotels service, this was not worth the GOUGED price that was charged for Solar Eclips.

The room was ice cold, and smelled like someone had smoked marajuana for days. The door going into the room would only open half way. The bed covering had multiple cigarette holes and smelled like skunk. The outside hallway was trashy and full of dirt and mud!

Scummy. Leaky toilet, not sure if the towels were washed and changed out, they were rags so didn't feel safe to shower and use. Pillows were flat and from another century. All around dirty place. On a good note the bedding was clean and the flooring was laminate. Will never stay at a Super 8 again

Just an average hotel. Never saw breakfast, there was a breakfast corner in the lobby but I never saw anything out. Floor (tile) in room had sand all over. But the bed was comfy and it was quiet.

BEWARE: DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR HOME TO BE INFESTED!!!! We arrived and within 30-45 minutes we were packing our stuff and running out of there. We got to our room and we started to unpack, I had some lavender bed pillow mist that I travel with and sprayed the air in the room as well as the bed since the room was a little stale and damp smelling. Me and my fiancé went out for about 20 minutes and came back to our room to begin unpacking and getting dressed for thanksgiving. We had about 30minutes before we needed to be back on the road to see family for dinner. It started in the restroom, the lights didn’t work and I made a note to let the office know. Then I saw something black in the tub. I moved in closer and that’s when I saw antennas moving. I screamed asked my fiancé to double check that I was seeing a roach and he looked and said yup that’s right. I immediately begin checking the room the walls had some smaller babies crawling down the walls and I lost it and started frantically shaking out the stuff we had unpacked and started throwing stuff back in to our suite cases. As I was at the desk packing my things I pick up my bag and there was a huge adult roach sitting right on the table ready to hop in my bag. I took several pictures and a couple videos as proof! DO NOT STAY HERE! THEY ARE TRYING TO NOT REFUND MY MONEY!

The door in my room would not close, the receptionist suggested using the top lock latch to keep it shut, i suggested another room. Went to my other room, there was hair in the shower, the bed was done neatly when i removed the sheets, there was hair, and the sheets were dirty like they havent been changed, i requested a non smoking and was given a smoking room, the receptionist stated “well you can smoke if you want too”, other than the noisy top floor neighbors or the heavy weed smell, the area was quiet, right off I30. I requested a refund and went across the highway. A bit more pricey but quiet great service with clean rooms, no heavy weed smell.

Not a place to go if you actually want to rest
We got two rooms and they ended up being on opposite sides of the facility, instead of next to each other. Both rooms had issues. Room 1 has no working a/c and was very stuffy, making sleep impossible. Room 2 had sticky stuff all over the floor, which was nasty to step on. The walls were paper thin so we could hear the upstairs people walking or doing who-knows-what all night. The beds were not very comfortable. The towels smelled soured and we only got one large towel in one of the rooms. The breakfast was included was one variety of cereal and that's it. On one night the police showed up. It was definitely a sketchy place and we would definitely not recommend it to anyone who needs a good night's sleep.

Roaches
One word - roaches, roaches, roaches, and more roaches. The place smelled of roaches, no doubt there was dead roaches under the carpet, in the walls, and under the furniture that hadn't been moved since the place was built. Even a liberal spraying of Pooh did little to lessen the stink. The tub had the beginnings of black mold coming from under the chalking of the tub. We cut short our stay because we could no longer tolerate the roaches, the stink of roaches, the stink of too many sweaty bodies and bare feet, carpet that hadn't been shampooed since it was installed, half-assed cleanings, and management who doesn't care. I would not house my dog in such a deplorable room.

The door to the first room would not lock except from the inside man said he would repair it but fid not. I moved to another room, and lock would not work on it either but we got this one to work. Big spot on bed spread. Men smoking very near my door and this makes me afraid because I could be rushed when I open my door. The breakfast was a joke.

It was a cheap road side motel and we got what we paid for. The beds were hard, the sheets were stained/ripped, there were multiple repairs that were needed, and the cleaniness was subpar.

Check in took forever . Reservation for a non smoking king room. We ended up with a queen . Lights above vanity sink ,when we got there only 1 working . Wife tightened 1 to make 2 out of 3 working. In the bath area 3 switches could only get 1 to do anything > light . No exhaust fan. We ran the water in the tub and sink for 10 minutes still had NO WARM water . The next morning after 15 minutes with HOT water in the shower turned ALL HOT never got to the point of needing to mix cool in.

Ok, the Negative reviews are sad. Stayed 4 nights total in mt pleasant only 2 here. After my 2 nights here, wish my total stay was here. That was only reading spoiled ppl writing reviews because it wasn't the Ritz!! My 4 stars are for Miner things that the hotel can fix. Young lady at the front desk was Totally awesome, very professional and able to handle any situation put in front of her. House keeping don't linger, they knocked and gave any supplies needed and walked away. If you are a Caviar type, please stay away from here, this is the/us " peasants " secret!!

We had reserved a suite the Jacuzzi and Round bed, blue velour material (pictured on site) that had a radio/cassette player and one speaker was out and laying on headboard/ ceiling fan beat the ceiling acoustic onto the floor due to being way off balance/ ice machine didn't and looked as if it hadn't worked in a while or any of the nights we were there, asked the manager if it worked the first night and they said no, the last day while checking out i asked about it again and they again told me no so i asked them could they at least put a sign up so everyone didn't have to walk up to it to discover it didn't work, then we left and will no be back. "By Wyndham" i would be ashamed to put my name on that one.

OK for a quick stop but don't expect breakfast.
This Super 8 was about what we expected, a convenient place to stop for the night on our trip. Our rating was "Good" based on all the criteria and the room and facilities were moderately clean. Breakfast was not worth eating, just some stale bagels for the most part. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.
