The Tulip Inn was perfect for the tulip festival and street fair! Literally 10 min from the best parking lot from the street fair. Room was clean, I traveled with my little sister and we both felt safe. Easy to find right off the freeway. My only wish was that the toilet flushed better and there was a water fill up station.

Check in was at 3. We showed up at 5 but said the room wasn’t ready yet. There was a lady in room taking a plastic bag off the smoke detector, which ended up chirping 10 min later. The beds were not very comfy and very noisy as they were literally on a sheet of plywood.

It is unusual these days to find a motel charging "only" a hundred dollars per night. This one did, although of course the numerous taxes brought the total for two days well over $200. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet. It's not a luxury motel by any means, but we were very happy. There's an all-you-can-eat restaurant right next door and they're pretty good too.

Efficient, fast and courteous front desk staff. Spacious room with very comfortable beds. Need to take the stairs up with luggage to the second floor as no elevator. Great for an overnight stay before heading home from Seatac. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.

Fair for the price. It's a good option for overnight. It was clean, but it wasn’t extremely clean though. It is very noisy due to the highway. The breakfast is not actually a breakfast, just some snacks that you grab over reception.

We serve a continental breakfast with a breakfast sandwich with yogurt, pastries, apples, oatmeal, breakfast cookies, Orange juice and coffee.

i found that the heat was preset... and it was at about 60 degrees. i was cold all night. i wont stay here again. ill pay the extra money for heat.

You can change the temperature of the heater/ac with the up and down buttons on the AC/Heating unit. The lowest setting is 61 and the highest is 84, were sorry if you couldn't get it set to the right temperature, if you had contacted the front desk we would have been more than happy to help or explain how they function or find you a new room if that one was malfunctioning.

More of a ? than a complaint. It was odd that there was a coffee maker & coffee but no cups. Went to make coffee at 430 am😕. Wish I had known to bring my own cup. I hope this was just an oversight of the housekeeping staff.

Every room is supposed to have cups by the coffee maker. You're always free to ask for some at the Front Desk if you're missing anything, though I know that doesn't really help at 4:30am when the office is closed. Sorry for the inconvenience but thank you for your review!

The room was well kept. A little bit noisy from the road. The price was very reasonable. And right beside an awesome buffet restaurant. Breakfast selection can do better

The room had a nice lay out. There was a dresser with two big drawers which were very convenient for my 5 night stay. Perfect sized room. The bed was very comfortable. The entry area has a big area for suitcases, bags and clothes hanging. There is a full sized ironing board and iron. Mini refrigerater and microwave worked great. The free wifi had no connection issues and was fast enough to stream online shows with no problem. The place was pretty quiet. Half way through my stay, there were occupants in the room above me. I could hear them when turning on their shower and sometimes when moving around, but no conversation. I slept well every night. The staff were helpful and accomodating. There was also a nice sized tv and cable tv, however, I did not use the tv, as I have shows I watch on my laptop on Amazon prime.

I've been here several times and I the front desk is courteous and very professional. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are a bunch of dining and shopping options. Finally, it's good for the budget conscious traveler.

Decent older hotel room - some noise issues
This is a cheaper option for staying along I-5 in Mount Vernon. The room itself was a standard hotel room and the bed was comfortable. The guy that checked me in was friendly and welcoming. The downsides were noise on 3 levels: 1. We could hear quite loudly the plumbing from the room next door. 2. Also next door, we could hear their conversation clearly and they weren't yelling or anything. 3. Yes, you hear highway noise. The morning front desk person was just kind of there - not friendly, not mean. You have to ask for a frozen breakfast sandwich and she got it for me with no expression. With all that said, I did get a good night's sleep and appreciated the breakfast options that were provided (yogurt, apple, oatmeal, coffee, frozen breakfast sandwich, packaged pastries).
