"We had a lovely stay at the Swallow Loft. It is a very unique property perfectly close to Galway’s city center. Peggy was very responsive especially with the issue with the humidity level we were experiencing in the place. I think this place is best for 2 people as the bedroom/bathroom at the lower level smelled a little musty. The overall cleaning looked ok but not fresh."

"We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, peaceful time. The food was delicious, prepared by Joyce, and we got a ton of advice and insight about the area and Ireland in general from Aidan. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again!"

"Our family reunion of 6 stayed here for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing 450 year old Tower. We had meals and played games in the great room, viewed the sunsets from the rooftop ramparts and generally lived like the Royal family (minus the servants of course). It served as an unforgettable and spectacular setting for a long overdue reunion for our family. We would return in a heartbeat."

"I truly cannot thank the host, Rachel, for all her care, time and planning with my family's trip to Ireland for the first time. The house is gorgeous, accommodating and cozy. Every detail that is advertised for this property is exactly correct even above and beyond what you would expect. We had a large group from ages 10-73 and we all loved our stay. Great parking options as we had 2 cars, laundry available and basic but functional kitchen. Basic amenities but great spot for our trip to Galway. "A nice modern hotel. Restaurant on the premices has a varied abd tasty menu. Morning buffet is well supplied. Downsides are: distance from historical centre (a 30min walk along a busy boulvard, but manageable) and uninteresting neighbourhood."
