Near the train station. Not noisy. Staff helpful. Free coffee in dining area, also you can bring food there to heat and eat during the day/evening. Room inc. breakfast. Shutters on window a good feature, can leave window open at night and get some ventilation. Room was too hot but you could open the window. Room/bed was small. Breakfast was ok but could be improved.

As a hotel in countryside, it was more than okay. But amenities were poor and staff was not effective so much. For business travelers who are used to stay at good hotels, this is a moderate and minimum acceptable hotel. Maybe we are spoiled.

Good value hotel about 40mins from Nagoya
Nice hotel. Good service. Close to train station. Free buffet breakfast is good. Free drink service. Hotel looks new. Location is a bit far (around 40mins by train) from Nagoya city center though.

1 night stay
Stayed here for 1 night between flights. It's about a 40 minute train ride away to and from the airport with a transfer. It is literally located right next to the train station so that makes it convenient, and considering its location, there wasn't much noise heard from the room. The room itself was small, but considering I was just there for 1 night, it wasn't a big deal. The sheets didn't look the cleanest and the pillow was uncomfortable. The air conditioner worked perfectly though, so I was grateful for that since it was so hot out! The bathroom was small but clean. Breakfast was pretty good for being included. Rice, eggs, sausage, curry sauce, soup. Many hotels in the U.S. that offer free breakfast don't have a breakfast like this so I was impressed!

Simple Hotel Near Chitahanda Train Station
If you need a hotel near Chitahanda area, then this hotel is recommended primarily because of its nearness to the train station. However, if you want to explore Nagoya, this area is quite far and nothing to see at night. Overall, hotel stay was ok, nothing spectacular except that they offer welcome drinks.

Too far from the airport
Hotel staff could not give directions from the airport even in Japanese. Had to cancel but they charged me the full amount for no show even though they promised not to charge me for cancellation. Wasted 100 dollars for a very bad experience.

No frills, good service, close to the train
The best thing that can be said about Meitetsu Inn Chita Handa Ekimae is the Ekimae part: it's near the station. And while the station is close as the bird flies to the airport, it isn't all that much closer by train than staying downtown. But it is cheaper. So despite its low and somewhat uncomfortable bed, and its rough-and-ready breakfast buffet, Meitetsu Inn Chita Handa is a good value, with good service and no frills.

Well, I didn't expect much so I guess thats why my expectations were exceeded. Rooms were tiny but that's no surprise for Japan and everything else was not disappointing. Staff was nice, parking was cheap, and breakfast was not too bad either. Wish there was Wi-Fi in rooms, but I did ok with the one in the lobby.

Neat hotel with reasonable pricing
The condition of the room is quite good - its cleanliness, lighting and air conditioning. However, the room and the semi-double bed is a bit small for two people. The floor of the bathroom is raised causing a bit of inconvenience. Staff is friendly but only one daytime staff knows adequate English to communicate with us. Breakfast is acceptable and wi-fi is good. Location of the hotel is quite far away from city center so one has to spend quite a bit on travel expenses and about 45 minutes time one way.

Rent a bicycle and cycle around town. Good experience if you like quiet town. Not many people and after 6pm it's very quiet. It's expensive to take railway to nagoya station. About 600 yen one trip.

Great hotel except for location
The staff is fantastic. Hotel is simple and impeccable. Breakfast buffet is has many choices. Only problem is it is far removed from center. Railroad is across street but you have to pay twice: for rail and then subway. And rail is expensive if you use a lot.

酒店職員10分好服務超長得居住泊車很便宜只是500日圓！就算泊車他就在半田站旁邊，雖然比起常滑去機場有點遠，但都10分方便！千萬不要住吸煙房煙味太大！早餐豐富，10分多選擇，而且味道很好
