To my huge dismay, I discovered the hard way that this hotel does not allow you to adjust the temperature of the A/C. The rooms have a simple dial which you turn from low to high for the A/C. However, in the dead heat of Nagoya summers, it does NOT cool your room fast enough at all.
The bathrooms are far too small, even for Japanese standards. The toilet is unusually close to the door of the bathroom. The sink is almost next to the toilet bowl. Be careful as things can easily fall into the toilet.
On the plus side, a fridge was provided.
Also, the rooms are powered by your room key, which is a flimsy hard piece of paper so be careful on hot days as well. That also means that when you leave your room, all power is turned off. In the summer, that equals having a hot and sweaty room every time you enter. In conjunction with the A/C never cooling your room off in time equals a hot and swampy room every time you enter.
In conclusion, this hotel is a decent spot for winter and spring and MAYBE fall but forget about summer.
