We stayed there for one night at last leg of our trip. We chose this hotel due to close proximity to airport. It’s a nice clean hotel. Staff was courteous and very nice. They booked us taxi for airport. Breakfast opens at 7 am, we had to leave for airport at 6:15 am and they made us cappuccinos to go. Area is residential and that’s why not a lot of restaurants within walking distance. Quiet neighborhood

Wonderful stay
Really impressed with our stay here! The staff was very friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable. The view was incredible of Mt Vesuvius at night! They helped our luggage with no problem. Breakfast was fantastic. We also felt really safe… the surrounding area wasn’t the best as we discovered walking to the train station to visit Pompeii and we stopped at the Naples Central Station to find something to eat. The hotel we felt totally comfortable and safe. The staff helped us book a taxi which was £28 to the airport.

We only stayed one night at City Hotel in between cities, but it was good for the time that we did spend there. The staff were very helpful in finding us a ride to the ferry port, because the taxis to and from the hotel’s location have additional tariffs/fees. Very clean, and very comfortable beds.

Bus was not far from hotel which was great because we had all our bags the bus came and we left to amalfi. Do not recommend to stay here more than 1 day though not much to do around.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel had plenty of secure parking. A few good local restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Otherwise a car or taxi is needed. Recommend a third floor which is very quiet. Surrounding area not so appealing but would not discourage visit.

If you only need basics, this property isn’t so bad. My main complaint is that they advertise a 24 hour airport shuttle service. The shuttle service was the main reason I booked this hotel. When I asked about it, the front desk staff said they do not offer that. Would I ever stay here again? No.

Good overall for a convenient stay near airport. Only issue was ineffective air conditioning in the room. We slept with windows open to keep room cool.

Great hotel for price, aiport and parking
City hotel was perfect for our needs. We wanted a cheap hotel close to the airport with free secure parking. The address is not completely accurate on google maps but with a short phone call to reception they guided us to the site. The area around the hotel is industrial and far from the center but suited our needs well. Check in was quick, the receptionist was helpful, the room was clean with air conditioning and for breakfast there were fresh pastries available.

Would definitely recommend to a friend on a budget. The one bad thing is transportation. Buses are not dependable and taxis are 35 to 40 euro per trip. Public cars Re good for going into Napoli but not returning. This is an out of the way place to stay. However very clean with lots of friendly employees.

Driving up to the hotel, the area around is a very shady neighborhood. Just a couple hundreds yards away we saw prositutes on the side of the street. We arrived just after 930pm, receptionist was not welcoming or friendly. Room was small even by European standards. We were completely disgusted finding long black hair in the corners on the bathroom floor. The shower drain was clogged. After stepping on the drain, black stuff came back into the shower. The free breakfast was way below average. Everything was packaged and every little to choose from. We picked this hotel after the excellent and outstanding reviews from hotel.com, but we were so disappointed that we had to cancel our return night from the Amalfi coast.

Le camere sono nella norma degli standard europei se voleva una camera più grande, dietro supplemento poteva chiedere il cambio camera. Il nostro addetto al ricevimento è stato molto gentile e si ricorda di lei e dei suoi problemi con il cellulare e di come ha cercato di aiutarla a risolvere un problema suo non dell'Hotel.Se la camera era così sporca perchè non ha chiesto un cambio camera, il nostro staff è sempre pronto a rendere il soggiorno dei clienti piacevole.La nostra colazione è negli standard con torte,cornetti, fette biscottate,biscotti, marmellate,cioccolata, succhi di frutta, cappuccino latte freddo,latte caldo,the e caffè.Saluti

Simple, small, clean double room with an extra bed put in for the third adult. Air conditioning not working, but we opened the window, as it was a calm night. Lovely view of Mount Vesuvius., but it was on the airport flight path.

Very clean and quiet room; excellent staff; good breakfast. Note: Without a car, you'll need to walk a half kilometre to access a bus (or train) to Naples.

Convenient for Naples Airport.
Much of the approach road, Via Capri, is very scruffy. Since Italian property addresses nearby are irregular we had some difficulty finding City Hotel. Once we saw it outside & inside we were reassured. Our room on the 3rd floor had a view of Vesuvius beyond the sprawl of Naples. Our stay was fairly short as we had to leave for the nearby airport at 3:30am so we missed out on our breakfast. The bedroom & it's en suite were well equipped & pleasantly decorated. The restaurant was not in operation however they offered a limited choice menu & minibus transport to a nearby hotel presumed to be in the same group for €15per person. The meal was excellent & good value. The minibus journey was gripping!

add said 1.3 K to airport try 30 euro taxi one way no where to eat unless you take the hotel shuttle to the Naples sister hotel about 15 minutes away. tourist hotel for bus patrons and locals not, repeat not a hotel for a traveler that wants what the add says but does not offer staff was great, room was very clean and modern, location sucked

City Hotel in Naples
We booked this hotel because it was close to the Naples airport. Some of the staff spoke English as well as I speak Italian. The neighborhood was a little rough, but your car can be put in an on-site garage or a gated parking lot. The hotel does not have a restaurant and there are not many choices nearby.
