“A minimalist style hotel with a rich history! Rooms were clean, tidy and the ceiling fan was legit. One of the only points of contention would have to be the single pain windows which allowed for quite a bit of street noise and draftiness. Bathrooms were squeaky clean, with all basic amenities provided! Dope location, in the heart of Astoria, within walking distance of everything rad! Shout out to Galactix Arcade—“you’ll wonder, where the heck am I.” Overall, the Norblad was well worth the……

“Was just a short one night stay while my Mom was in the hospital. We got in late and getting in was a bit of a hassle. Keys didn’t work and codes didn't work. Otherwise was a very nice room.”

“Most of motel was under construction - no warning on Expedia or motel website. Available rooms were pet friendly, we did not have a pet. No breakfast buffet, bagged breakfast delivered to room (untoasted bagel, muffin, hard boiled eggs and juice box). Coffee maker in room with no cream. Room we stayed in very dated and in need of remodeling. Holes in sheets, tv didn’t sit on stand correctly, screen door feel off. Love this place in the past but disappointed in our stay.”

“Parking is to get, but the accommodations are comfortable and kitschy 60’s theme. If the free continental breakfast isn’t enough the Pig & Pancake iconic restaurant for the area is literally next door and will do orders to go or you can dine in. It will not disappoint you.”

“Full ocean view. Room was clean. Staff was excellent, I would stay there again. The toilet was slow in flushing due to old design. I would recommend upgrade of toilet. This is just the design of the older toilets. Thanks”
