This Condo has everything you need!
If you are looking for a very quiet and peaceful place to stay for some R&R, you have found it at Palm Cay in Winnie's villa. We all slept so well. The condo is exceptionally clean and comfortable with very nice beds, linens and towels. We didn't rent a car but you might want to if you plan to see the island. Our agenda was simply beach time at the Palm Cay beach resort. It was very nice but expensive. A daily rate is charged for the privilege of a chair and towel. Everything else at the resort is extra. The grounds of Palm Cay are lovely and well kept and while not huge you can get a nice daily walk in. We would definitely return to this condo if back in the Bahamas.

Absolutely AMAZING!
If we could give Miss Winnie and her husband a higher rating, we would. First of all, these weren't the dates we had originally booked. Winnie was kind enough to allow us to reschedule our dates up until the date of arrival. This was even during prime time spring break week. We weren't sure if we would be able to travel due to COVID and she could not have been more accommodating, patient and understanding. We did reschedule and just returned from our trip. Fred the driver is always there to take you around the island. :) Upon arrival, he was waiting with a sign for us at the airport and whisked us away to Palm Cay. Call or text him any time and he will even wait for you while you eat or shop. He knows the island inside and out and is one of the nicest humans we have ever met. Easy check-in process, Miss Winnie met us and gave us a quick tour. Spotless. (And I am as picky as they come!) She had tennis racquets waiting for our son who loves to play and a freshly baked carrot cake on the counter. Not only that, but she took my husband to the GROCERY STORE! When they returned she drove us up to dinner at the Pink Octopus (the pizza is fabulous btw and we are from Chicago). Comfy beds, ceiling fans in every room, nice hot water in the showers, laundry in unit is so nice after days out on the beach and in the water. Kitchen has everything you need to cook and bake - we ate in a few nights and had all you need to make a meal. You won't even find one spot on any of her glassware! Above and beyond service and attention to detail. This is a 10 star property in a lovely gated community. Access to pools and beautiful clear water beach. My husband and the boys enjoyed a morning of fishing and snorkeling with Captain Jamie on the Cool Runnings boat. I highly recommend staying here and heading off for day passes to the larger resorts or water parks. We rented a golf cart along with the condo and we were able to use it to get to and from the beach as well as to the grocery up the street. We are planning to come back for my husband's 50th birthday. Thank you for a delightful trip! Can't wait until our paths cross again Miss Winnie!!

Great stay after our sailing trip
Very new and clean villa. Was perfect place for us to relax. Winnie helped us organize a car rental for one day that dropped off and picked up the vehicle right at our door. Winnie was very helpful host. The area is a bit of a drive from the main areas of Nassau so if you are looking to be right in that area you may need a car. But Palm Cay was relaxing and felt secure for our family. Would stay here again.

Beautiful Beach & Beautiful Condo
We loved staying at Palm Cay! Winnie took care of us from the moment we booked. She answered questions, helped us rent a golf cart, and greeted us upon arrival. The condo is beyond clean and very comfortable. The bed was like sleeping at home! The beach is a walk away (or for us a quick golf cart ride) and just perfect with coves to enjoy! You will need to buy a pass if you’d like chairs to sit on each day. Otherwise the beach for owners is wonderful, just no chairs. We thought the membership passes were a little pricey but since part of our group was staying in one of the houses on the beach we didn’t need that access. The Octopus was used almost everyday. I will crave their three cheese pizzas until someday I return! Thanks Winnie for being such a great host! We enjoyed our stay!

Perfection in Paradise!
We loved our stay at Palm Cay! Winnie was an amazing host—greeting us at the beautiful villa and showing us around. She even brought a cake to welcome us! The house is immaculate and we loved sitting on the porch having meals together. A few of our friends enjoyed the marina amenities (pool, beach) and the grocery store was right around the corner. We were truly grateful for Winnie’s great hospitality and communication. She helped us arrange transportation and a rental car, which enabled us to see more of the island and prepare for a yacht charter at the marina. We loved our stay and highly recommend this property.

Adorable Condo in the Marina
This Palm Cay condo fit our every need. We stayed two nights to prepare for a sailing trip to the Exumas from the Palm Cay Marina where the condo is located. Well appointed, clean, and comfy with upscale interior design, a modern and well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely porch. Winnie was an excellent host who got us in and out seamlessly. We even rented a car from them that we used to provision for our sailing trip. Very enjoyable stay.

The condo is very clean, and Winnie's welcome was warm, she took the time to show everything available in the unit and make suggestions about all of the amenities on the property. One of the simple thoughtful touches that I really liked was the make-up towels and pillowcases, so you don't have to worry about soiling white towels and pillowcases in the home. Maybe silk pillowcases can be added too as this is the new thing for face and hair treatments these days. We were even greeted with a cake in the unit, she has thought about just about everything one would need for their stay, short or long. Also one of the BEST things about this unit is the comfy beds, I've stayed in nice air b n b's but some of the beds were uncomfortable these beds are the best... don't think twice book the unit.

Quick trip
We needed a place for 6 of us to stay for 2 nights before we headed to Long Island and Winnie’s place had stellar reviews so I booked 2 nights for our family. I arranged to have Fred pick us up from the airport and he gave us a fantastic tour on the way to our condo. Fred was recommended by Winnie. We were welcomed by Winnie and her husband who gave us a tour and went over everything with us and let us know if we needed anything they were a call away! The home was absolutely beautiful and the cleanest vacation home I have ever stayed at! Everything was perfect and we wished we could stay longer. All 6 of us highly recommend staying at Winnie’s place.

We had a great vacation. The property was exactly as promised. Winnie was a great host and very helpful with questions and plans. We rented a car from Winnie which was very convenient. She arranged transportation to and from the airport, delivered our car, and picked us up with a replacement car when we had a flat tire. Lovely Christmas Holiday
Our Lodging and host Mrs Winnie were lovely. We wanted simply well apointed elegance, and were not disappointed. The space is beautiful. "Friendly Fred" picked us up at the airport, Mrs Winnie greeted us at the apt and gave a quick complete orientation. A delicious carrot cake was waiting for us! Stay at villa in paradise
The hosts are extremely nice and courteous, always just a phone call away. Everything needed is on hand in the house. The house don't even get me started is absolutely beautiful and spotless. The entire resort is actually. A great restaurant, three different pools, a playground for kids, tennis courts, spa, marina, and more. But out of all of the stuff that we did while staying in the Bahamas my wife and I agreed we liked the house we stayed in the best. Thanks again Winnie.

We really enjoyed our stay at Palm Cay! The unit was perfect and impeccably clean. It had everything we needed. Our host Winnie was wonderful and answered all of our questions. The beach was beautiful and a short golf cart ride away. We highly recommended chartering a boat with Captain Owen at sea and tings (recommended to us by Winnie). It was the perfect day of fishing, snorkeling, swimming with the pigs and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back!

Highly highly recommend!
We cannot say enough great things about Winnie and her team. The condo was absolutely fantastic; meticulously clean, stocked with all essentials you might need for preparing meals, going to the pool and beach. Winnie and her son were very responsive; they organized airport pick up and drop off as well as a self drive car rental at quite reasonable and fair rates. The check-in process was seamless; she allowed us early check-in given our flight had arrived earlier. That was amazing because we had our 2 kids with us. Overall, an amazing place and an even lovelier host.

Villa at Palm Cay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palm Cay. The condo was clean, well-appointed, and very quiet. The beds were comfortable, we had plenty of space, and we wanted for nothing. TV and wifi worked well. Winnie was a lovely host and was very helpful. She arranged airport pick-up with Fred who was very kind and helpful also. Renting a golf cart made trips to the beach a breeze. The amenities of Palm Cay are great. We enjoyed dinners and drinks at the Pink Octopus and never left the community. The beach was beautiful, the water crystal clear, and we enjoyed it all to ourselves. A grocery store and liquor store are 1/2 mile away for essentials, and it’s an easy trip by golf cart. We can’t wait to go back!

Palm Cay is a new residential and marina development. The condo we stayed in was well appointed and clean. Parking was convenient and the overall project/development is very nice. There is ongoing construction but not immediately adjacent to the unit meaning you’re not going to hear a lot of construction noise but there are workers on-site working on the phases and single family homes that are still under development. The on-site restaurant was actually wonderful. Of all the places we ate, including at Ocean Club, Atlantis, etc. it was the most enjoyed by our whole party. The dockside cafe is nice to have too although more standard fare. There are some amenities available with the unit, others are an additional charge. Those are due to the development not the individual owner of this unit. That made it a little weird because you have to pay a fee to go to the bar but a few steps away is the on-site restaurant with bar. That’s not a big deal though as there is plenty available without an additional charge. I’d recommend a car if staying here if you want to make trips to other areas of the island and Paradise Island. If you’re in reasonably good shape you don’t need a car to get around the property. It was less than half a mile to the restaurant/cafe/beach from the unit. Overall I’d recommend the project particularly if you prefer more of a home type feel than hotel.

Awesome double birthday celebration
Great villa, accommodating owners, beautiful location. Villa was spotless with everything we needed and more. Extra towels, cleaning products and a starter pack with coffee, tea etc was a great touch. I do recommend hiring golf kart in advance to do your grocery shopping and get to the beach in style as both are around 10min walk in a humid heat. Can’t wait to return and recommend the villa to my friends

I can’t give enough accolades for Winnie’s property. We use VRBO for the majority of our trips, pleasure or business. The property was absolutely immaculate. Not a single grain of sand on the tile floors, every appliance and amenity you would need in the kitchen. So many towels and the beach towels were a special addition. It’s always nice to have beach towels and not have to pack them when traveling. The modern and neutral decor was relaxing and inviting. Winnie’s thorough walk through upon arrival and detailed guidebook were so very helpful. She arranged a golf cart rental for us that was seamless and absolutely the nicest golf cart we’ve ever had on vacation. I would most certainly stay here again, and HIGHLY recommend Winnie’s properties and services to everyone.

1st class from the start
My family and I spent a week in this WELL MAINTAINED and beautifully decorated home. Winnie lined up FRED (taxi) to pick us up at the airport. Fred is an awesome gentleman that we used several times during the week to transport us around. He was very punctual, accommodating and knowledgeable about the island. He is definitely a MUST. $70 taxi ride to and from airport and $35 locally. Winnie met us at the door to walk us through the enmities and give us the lay of the land. Extremely helpful (our flight was early and she was very accommodating with an earlier check-in). No guarantee, but it worked out for us. She is fantastic. We rented the golf cart ( A MUST). we were able to get around the property easily and go to the grocery and spirits store as needed. It was a life saver. $65 per day is well worth it! The only issue we experienced was with the television connection for streaming. However, Reto came over immediately and was able to get us operable. He is a super nice gentleman and genuinely cares about the guests. As far as Palm Cay, it was beautiful. The POOL and pool bar was very convenient and easily accessible. You will have to pay $15 per day, per person to use this service, but it's well worth it. The beach area and ocean swimming area was excellent. We stayed in the ocean for hours with very little current or big waves. I will say, be prepared to spend some money. The groceries are expensive, and drinks aren't cheap. However, Well worth it. We WILL BE BACK!

Get Away
We stayed for a week 6 of us. Palm Cay was beautiful and peaceful. The beach was beautiful and not crowded. Winnie was wonderful. We were going to cancel are car rental and she suggested we give it a try. Driving on the other side of the road. We were forever grateful that we did. We seen a lot of the island and ate at good places. They were easy going and always a phone call away. I recommend Palm Cay and a car rental. You won’t forget it. We made a lot of good memories.

Excellent property in Bahamas
The Villa was as advertised and perfect in every way. Winnie was waiting when we arrived from the airport via her taxi driver Fred that was a great guy and knowledgeable. Beach was perfect with chairs and bar at the club. Had issue with Netflix and Winnie personally came over to fix it. Golf Cart is a must and makes trips to really beautiful local beach easy. Golf cart to grocery and local food trucks. The quiet side of the Bahamas for sure with a marina in the neighborhood as well. Excellent in every way possible.

Winnie’s Place is a Winner!
We absolutely loved our stay at Winnie’s place! It far exceeded our expectations. Winnie is a gem… she was an excellent communicator, she meet us upon arrival and clearly explained everything plus she makes the best raisin loaf! The villa was exceptionally clean, very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us, just a short walk to Palm Cay Marina, the beach and the grocery store. Thank you Winnie for your kindness and hospitality!

Great stay
We had a wonderful time at Palm Cay Resort. I feel we were lucky to have such a wonderful host as Winnie. She was very attentive to our needs. When we arrived she had many valuable references prepared for us to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had a late flight out and she graciously extended our check-out time, which helped a lot since we had a 4 year old traveling with us. I would absolutely rent from Winnie again and feel absolutely safe!

Very pleased with our stay!
We stayed a couple of days in the villa and we enjoyed it very much. The house had everything we could wish for. Winnie did think about everything, from dishwasher tablets to soup and shampoo. We also had a baby with us, Winnie did arranged a pack and play and high chair for us. Winnie took care of us the whole time, she was available all the time and was always nearby. The house was just one minute away from the pool and Winnie had also bags and beach towels in the house that we could use. The beach was 5-10 minutes walk from the house and also the restaurant Pink Octopus. There are also 3 more pools and a poolclub by the beach available for you for only 50 $ for the whole week. You can also rent bikes. And Winnie had also a golf car you can rent. The grocery store was 10 min walk away from the house. Winnie did arrange a taxi for us, both from and to the airport, but also during our stay. Fred was amazing! Everything was just perfect. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this villa and Winnie!

Wonderful Trip
We cannot say enough great things about Winnie’s residence at the Palm Cay. We did a girls trip that included 5 ladies and loved every minute of it. Winnie was very communicative throughout the entire process and even prior to us booking. She made the process very smooth and even arranged a taxi cab pickup, Fred, from the airport to the villa.We enjoyed Fred so much that we used him throughout our 4 days at Palm Cay. I’d highly recommend Fred for all your travels on the island. Downtown Nassau is a short 20-25 min ride where we did a day trip with the pigs and explored the shopping area. It is very busy with the crew ships, which is why we preferred to stay at Palm Cay. Palm Cay is set in a gated community and made for a more relaxed vacation. The Villa is very clean and Winnie sets you up with everything you made need. Id highly recommend Winnie’s Villa at Palm Cay and recommend the upgrade for the private pool and beach with chairs and huts. Winnie we can’t thank you and Reno enough! We have a wonderful time and will be back.

Wish we never had to leave!
My family of 4 (with two young children) stayed here for three weeks in January 2023. Our in-laws also joined us for two weeks. The condo was absolutely perfect and I wish we never had to leave. It was spacious and clean and had everything we needed for an extended stay. We cooked almost all of our meals at the property and the grocery store that is a 10 minute walk away had everything we needed. My only recommendation would be to add a few water glasses to the kitchen, as well as a cheese grater (which are obviously very minor recommendations). The balcony was so cozy and we ate most of our meals out there - what an incredibly peaceful spot with the sound of the palm trees in the wind! The gated community is VERY peaceful and the complete opposite of what you will find at the Atlantis or Baha Mar resorts. We visited each during our stay and couldn’t wait to get back to our peaceful and secluded community. One note to other travellers is that additional condo units are being built along the main road to the beach, and so the noise from the construction can be heard from the balcony of the condo (not inside) and at the beach. We did not find the noise overly bothersome (there were 2-3 days at the beach that were a bit louder, but otherwise it was kept to a minimum) - the construction is taking place in the early months of 2023. Winnie was incredibly responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peaceful holidays!

Wonderful Bahamas holiday vacation
Leading up to our vacation, our renter Winnie was wonderful to correspond with. She replied to all of my questions. If I had 3 words to describe Winnie it would be kind, generous & accessible. The unit itself was lovely and was perfect for our all of our needs. The villa was very clean (I wish my house was that clean), organized and had everything we needed for a week away from home. The kitchen was very well equipped with a coffee pot, toaster, microwave, oven, dishes & pans to cook in. The bathrooms were spotless and had a good supply of bath towels & beach towels. The unit came with a washer & dryer, which was perfect when you have two teenagers. Upon our arrival Winnie gave us a delicious carrot cake, which my husband & teenagers very much. She went over the Palm Cay resort amenities with us. We bought the pass for the family to enjoy the private beach, pool & bar (which can be purchased at the Welcome Center after arrival) - and we used it every day. We also bought passes for my husband & I to use the gym facility. It was small, but perfect for a quick workout in the morning. The supermarket is only a half mile walk away, and Winnie has a golf cart to rent if you don't want to take a cab or walk to the grocery store (she even supplied us with reusable grocery bags). After she checked us in, Winnie showed up the next day b/c she forgot to leave some snorkel equipment for my 14-year-old son who was interested in snorkeling. I was so touched & grateful that she remembered that small fact I had mentioned months earlier. It was very thoughtful, and my son & husband thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling (which I highly recommend - the fish & sea life you can see is really amazingly beautiful). Winnie also provided us with the name of a cab driver (Fred), who was also lovely. He picked us up at the airport and he couldn't have been any nicer. When arranging our cab ride to the airport to return home he arrived 10 min early (which I was very appreciative of given the state of airline delays). Fred's prices were very reasonable. The villa is approx an 8-min walk to the beach, which we enjoyed walking b/c it was along the dock. I would highly recommend this villa for your vacation & Winnie was an absolute delight. I forgot to mention, Winnie decorated the villa with a x-mas tree and decorations - it was so pretty - we loved it! We will definitely be returning to Palm Cay. Thank you Winnie! A perfect place away from all the hectic parts of Nassau.
The total experience was outstanding. I booked and was confirmed quickly. It was a short notice booking so it was helpful to have great communication with Winnie. The place was spotless and Comfortable. Although I was alone, a family would stay well here with 3 bedrooms! The Palm Cay marina has a restaurant and beach access. Great vacation!
Winnie was a wonderful host and made the airport pick up & arrival to the property as simple as possible! We rented a golf cart and rode to the local grocery store and to the pool/beach daily! Palm Cay is beautiful!

December getaway - family with small children
I vacationed at this property with my husband and two small children (4 years old and 15 months old). We rented a car and found the short drive to the property to be relatively easy, and once we arrived the check in process was very smooth. Winnie arrived with some cookies for the girls and was very responsive over the next couple of days when we had some minor hiccups at the start of our trip. The property and grounds are beautiful and we chose to get beach club access while we were there, which was great. The lights in the complex are quite bright at night, so for parents looking for a “black out” room for their kids to sleep, you may want to plan ahead. The only other thing to make note of for anyone looking to book the property soon is that there is a fair bit of construction going on in the development as different phases are being completed. If you plan to cook during your stay, I would suggest bringing anything you might consider essential for spices or seasonings as there is only salt and pepper provided and groceries can get fairly pricy on the island. Overall we had a great experience and the layout of the unit was great for our family - plus Winnie made sure a pack n play and highchair were ready for our arrival as well. We would gladly return in the future!

We have been to Nassau many times and have stayed at other VRBO’s in the past. This property was unique in that if offered both the amenities of the community (restaurant, pool, beach) as well as convenient access to the rest of Nassau. Our host was fantastic and attentive and the unit itself was very clean. Highly recommend!

Great stay!
As all the reviews have said, Winnie is the best! The property was great, plenty of room, and comfortable. The beach/water was just amazing! We loved our stay and will be back soon. The only thing I would say for others to consider is the food store wasn’t within walking distance if you plan to get anything other than a few items. I would recommend either renting a golf cart or having transport take you there if you’re stocking up. But it was super convenient to have both the grocery and liquor store close by.

Amazing location and property!
My family of 5 stayed at the villa for a week. The villa was just as we expected, very comfortable and felt just like home. We were greeted and shown around the villa and informed about all the amenities at Palm Cay. We highly recommend joining the Beach Club! We only left to go to the grocery store, just a few minutes down the road, and do a swimming with the pigs adventure. We even got a "best vacation ever" from our oldest! We will definitely be back!

Winnie’s Villa is Truly Paradise
Villa in Paradise is hands-down the best VRBO property we have ever rented. Let’s be honest, accommodations can either make or break your vacation, right? Rest assured, Winnie has taken great pride in this villa and it shows. The Villa is sparking clean, very well appointed, and has every amenity you could possibly need. Seriously, if Winnie hasn’t provided it, then you probably didn’t need it anyway. The beds are amazingly comfortable and so welcoming after a day of sun and fun. The living room is cozy for sure, but my personal favorite place to lounge was on the porch during sunset. We made dinner at the Villa several nights, and the kitchen was awesome - just like being at home…but In paradise. We did a ton of activities around the island (driving on the left was part of the adventure!), but you could spend your entire vacation on property at Palm Cay and still have a fabulous time. The beach is breathtakingly beautiful, the pool is quiet and convenient, and the pizzas at the Pink Octopus are highly recommended. Winnie is so generous with her time and attention before, during, and after your stay. She truly, truly goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. She feels like a new friend, and I hope we get to visit again soon. Thank you, Winnie!
