No room service entire week. Had to ask for more towels and toilet paper and coffee. The light on the swimming pool was coming out and we thought we were going to be electrocuted. Very nice facility but feel like it is going downhill.

This property was a disappointment. The area is beautiful however we were put in a handicap accessible room which we did not ask for, with a roll in shower that flooded the entire bathroom when we used it. Hot tub was broken heated pool was not even warm. The whole place had a musty smell. Not likely to ever stay again

The property is in disrepair and badly in need of some updates. The door to the room had been damaged and the pillows were yellow. One pillow had black spots. I brought the concerns to the front desk. They were unbothered. I ended up cutting my trip short and leaving. Please read the recent reviews and you'll see many people have had similar experiences. Don't book with them.

The shower has little to no pressure because 1/2 the water comes out of the tub faucet when engaged. The air conditioner sounds like a freight train is going to come through the wall at any minute. The sink in the bathroom has no hot water. The curtains are see through and do not block light from the sidewalk lamps. This is not a resort, I’ve had motels at 1/4 the price. We also ate dinner and had to wait 1hr for salad and soup. Kids were running up and down the halls until 12 midnight and hotel staff was called starting at 10PM and they never would come and stop it.

Let me first start off and say i should have listened to the reviews. This was my first time staying here and i was there with my family for the major league fishing event. Upon arrival the outside is very beautiful, now the inside is a different story the hallways are disturbing. We stayed in the suit building and didn't have hot water for our entire stay. The heat in the room ran non stop and wouldn't hold 72 degrees in the room. We ate at the resort and the food was wonderful, but clearly they are seriously understaffed. We sat in the dining area for over 20 minutes listening to the staff talk non stop and bs with each other. Finally I went to the front desk and he had to go see what was going on then told us to go sit at the bar which was across the main area. They had one server and she was working as hard as possible but couldn't keep up with everything. Our bill for 5 was over 100 with a very limited selection of food. I can't really say very many positive things about this resort other than the view and the walking path.

Check in was delayed to 4PM. Property is near the lakeshore with beautiful golf course adjacent to hotel. Hotel is very nice but key amenities are lacking: no microwave in the hotel room forces purchase of expensive resort snacks and meals. Significant drive to external restaurants or grocers stores. No WIFI reception. Cell phone service is slow depending on carrier. TV cable service is limited selection and some stations blacked out by the provider. If you don’t need thise amenities, this would be a great place to relax.

Staff was nice. Property nice. Found someone’s chapstick in chair in room after I checked in. Housekeeping never came to my room to clean or distribute more towels or anything. I was there for 2 nights and never saw housekeeping.

Relaxing
Beautiful sunset views over the lake, great hamburger from the grill. Only hiccup was the internet had been out for 3 days so I had to do all my work in the lobby. Also, they put me in a room with the parking lot view instead of the Lake. They were obviously NOT full as there were maybe 5 cars in the parking lot. Hardly anybody there during the week but told me there were no other rooms. Disappointing, but nice place overall.

Needs a little updating
Very difficult to find. Place was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. No trash cans in room but they brought us one. We really missed having a microwave. Got in late, got food to go from downstairs but by the time we got to our room it needed warming. Could not even heat up coffee. Vanity needs updating. Be nice to have a few more signs along the way. Beautiful area.

Everything outside of the hotel is great! Everything inside was broken, room was missing the sofa with the pullout bed and unable to change to correct room. Front desk said they were booked but really-a majority of the rooms had not been cleaned ( 10 pm) No water pressure and there was actually no water at all for about an hour. The front desk and maintenance man tried their best to help & fix the problems-no manager on duty the entire weekend. I will be disputing this charge. My husband had to drive 30-45 minutes after checking in the buy blow up mattresses for the kids to sleep on. This property needs better management, upgraded plumbing & new doors. Will not stay here ever again! Utterly disappointed!

Beautiful property, friendly staff, great pool, two places to eat and easy parking. Only negative thing to report would be the bathtub. When I turned the water on for my 6 year old, brown water came out 🙃. He gave me the side eye- I rinsed it out and he went ahead with the bath. But the water pressure and overall temperature of the water wasn’t great. Water never got hot.

The place could use a significant update, there was a cockroach in our room, bathroom was leaking so bad the tub was full of old water. Love Toledo and the place could be a really nice place, but seems run down.

I like how when i had problems with my room how staff stepped in and took care of me. I didn't like the check in time I paid for my weekend getaway online and the time said 3pm and got there its was 4pm and I had to wait, after an long drive there.

After going back and forth asked to speak to a manager and all of a sudden they had rooms available I would just have to wait. Around 7:45 finally received a room

We had a good time. It wasn’t great. I couldn’t get ice on all 3 floors. The woman behind the desk was nice enough to get some from the bar. The room was good. The bathroom needs a remodel. The handle to turn the shower on spewed water when you pulled it. And I couldn’t see if I had stubble after I shaved bc of the lighting was not bright; and there isn’t a fan in the shower. This isn’t acceptable for a resort that charges $189/night. The reason they can charge $189 is bc the parking lot was full of boats bc of a tournament this weekend. The area around the resort is nice. There is a gas station and grocery nearby and the locals and visitors are very polite.

Secluded surprise...
This resort is totally secluded and wonderful. The elevator needed a good cleaning and a power wash on the outside of the hotel wouldn't hurt. But otherwise well maintained. The lobby and grounds were beautiful. I'd definitely stay again.

One of the worst hotel experiences ever. We went to our room, opened the door and immediately saw someone else’s stuff everywhere. Talk about a security problem! They had given us a room that was already occupied. We then got another room that had dead bugs on the floor and when you turned on the bathtub faucet a substantial amount of big chunks of black slimy gunk came out. Pretty horrible experience for a hotel that is supposed to be a resort. Never mind the overall condition of the hotel. There were pieces of trim missing in the hall, every door looked like it hadn’t been painted in years, the floor in the elevator was disgusting, I could go on and on.
