I have young children and the walk was much shorter than many beach houses that claim close beach access in their listings. This stretch of the beach is a little south of the busier part of town. “What a cute and clean little house, right on the beach! You can tell that thought was put into the items around the house to make it as comfortable as possible for guests, and they did a fantastic job. Plenty of beach towels, extra blankets, and kitchen items like mixing bowls, good quality pans and a Dutch oven. “Front door on the promenade, where we could watch people walk past, sitting by the gas fire "table" ...with front door access for our dog, when duty called. Gated front yard too. Easy 5 min. walk to turn about, a little further to aquarium, and back to Broadway for kids fun time and shopping. Did not pay attention to "vintage" description of house but it was the cutest ol' house in between the taller rental structures. Felt special in this 1904 cottage compared to the more modern high rises.”

“Great stay! So close to everything yet very quiet. We could hear the ocean at night. Loved the back porch and beautiful gardens surrounding the home. FYI—they are building a new home right next door and the construction workers started between 7:30-8am. It wasn’t a problem for us as we get up early anyways but it might be for some. Obviously this is just a short term issue. ”
