“Great experience at this property! It was the perfect size for 2 adults and a dog. The kitchen was stocked with cooking/eating utensils. Our host responded immediately and quickly came to change the propane tank for us when it ran out. Nice deck area to sit outside and have a meal or just relax. It was the perfect middle ground between the north and south side of the outer banks. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the beach for sunrise and sunset as well. The road was very quiet and we felt……

Not only was the place decorated beautifully, but it had everything we needed (comfy bed, plenty of soft towels, ample room for our pup) and was conveniently located. “Our stay at the Relax Shack came during an unexpected heatwave. Having this comfy, spacious two-bedroom house allowed our 21 year old daughter, our dog, and US to spread out and chill out without getting on each others nerves. The house provided everything needed to prepare our meals and the large deck was lovely-when we managed to avoid the heat. I picked up a nail in my tire and asked our hosts, Amber and Brett for suggestions for a reliable garage to repair/replace it. They suggested a place……

“A gem of a find! Everything was as listed. Hot tub was perfect. There was an abundance of board and card games for all ages. Beach backpack chairs were awesome and easy to carry on the short walk to the beach. Loved the proximity to Target. Close to local restaurants. We ordered dinner from Millers and the Kill Devil Grill - both excellent. The N64 was such a nostalgic addition. My daughter loved the snowboarding game! The upstairs living area was perfect for relaxing. Loved the way the TV was……
