The club in the hotel seems to take precedence over the hotel guests. Staff shoo guests out of the way for club attendees. There was a contact lens on the bathroom floor. None of us wear contacts.

We enjoyed the close proximity to the events we were attending and to restaurants. The only thing I wish were available would be another bar, without loud music, that you could sit with friends and actually talk. The rooftop is fun, but loud and you can talk. Maybe another small venue for drinks after the theater??

This property worked well for us in convenience of location. Our room was fine for us too. Just be aware that there is a club at the top of this hotel so it can be very loud. They are apparently working on soundproofing and the noise doesn’t carry down too many floors. But if you aren’t here to party, ask to be below floor 10 at least.

On weekends the music from the club on the fifteenth floor is quite loud especially only a couple of floors above. Multiple lights in my room did not work. I had a great city view from my room.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Good location, good value. Pros : great location for walking, landmarks and public transport. Security at door so felt safe and that not anybody could walk in. Hip vibe and great decor. Big wardrobe and drawer space too. As travelling for 5 nights from the UK, this was great. Cons : our balcony room was on the 3rd floor - directly next to a communal terrace for the surrounding apartments, meaning loud parties and noise on Thu/Fri/Sat nights - we expected this room type would be on a higher floor. Door/windows were not soundproof. Nightclub (for residents and general public) on 15th floor - we didn’t know this when booking so this meant noisy and lots of people milling around. Staff at concierge were friendly, but service was slightly slow.

The hotel staff was amazing. Except a night time doorman harassed me - he acted like a power tripping night club bouncer because guess what? There’s a very loud nightclub inside, so it’s just Oontz Oontz with the DJ dropping the bass in my room all night over the weekend – which I didn’t know. And I was jet lagged. The shower turned cold if the room next to me showered. The in-room coffee machine only had decaf. Was not the best experience. But again, the front desk staff were excellent, and helpful. But I can’t stay there again.

I have stayed at Indigo on several occasions and have always enjoyed the convenient location to restaurants, public transportation and coffee shops. While the hotel is clean and very decent, the bar/nightclub that occupied the 15th floor has now taken over the 14th floor also. The noise level is completely beyond the pale. The music and partying goes until 4 am (when the club closes) and you can hear the noise as if it’s in the hallway. You should consider the noise when booking a stay at the Indigo, especially on weekends. I spoke with a manager at 11:20 pm on my last night as the noise was untenable. The manager politely stopped me while I was explaining the situation and playing a recording I took from behind my closed door as she was all too familiar with the situation. My room was moved to the 21st floor at 11:30 pm. I was moved to a lovely suite with a patio and spectacular views. Unfortunately, I got to the room at 11:30 and checked out at 9:00 am. I was VERY annoyed when I contacted the hotel the next day and was offered a measly $80 to compensate me. I found that insulting! Eventually, I got a credit for the one miserable night! You have been warned!

The quality of the room was average. The bedding was not luxurious, there were scuffs and remnants of past guests all over the room, the lighting was dim and very yellow, and overall, the room did not feel clean or taken care of. I don't believe that I would stay again.

Love everything about this hotel, my friends and I stayed overnight and were absolutely blown away by the service and staff. Very convenient to everything, food, drinks, shopping. Mr.Purple bar and lounge ,local in the hotel was a major plus’s for us. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Had a great stay! The *only* slight negative was hearing music from the club in the hotel (we were on the 4th floor - a few floors below the bar). It wasn’t super intrusive, and fine for an adult couple, but wouldn’t love it if we had our kids with us. Otherwise it was a wonderful hotel with lovely staff.

We did notice the smell of cigarette and marijuana smoke in our room late at night. I presume this smell came in from one of the outdoor vents. Also our first night (Saturday) was quite noisy with music from the bar above us.

Good front desk staff, good housekeeping. Reasonable rates, good size rooms. Close to many good restaurants, but Ludlow is a very busy street with constant traffic noise. 15th floor has a club which, on weekends, is extremely loud until 3:55 a.m!!! And during the summer, it is noisier. (We made the mistake of staying on the 12th floor!) I may return but only if a lower floor was available.

They missed a couple items in the room which they say they will include, we have to call front desk many times to get all the stuff missing. The interior design is mid, the bathroom door and shower door cannot close due to design. We booked a room with balcony, and we are missing the cushion on the balcony chair which we saw everyone else have, and they never send up even we called (maybe because of the some raining days within our stay, but they should follow up with us).

The hotel is well situated and looks great. Room was comfortable and the bathroom was huge by NYC standards. But we were given a room on the 16th floor just above the restaurant/club where the music was blaring until 4am. Reaction of the staff? Nothing. Not even an apology

Beautiful convenient location, noise from the club on the 15th floor carried very loudly to our room on the 19th floor both Friday & Saturday nights. I could hear the lyrics to the songs it was so loud. Not a great hotel for sleeping but seems to be the spot if you want to party until 4am.

It was really loud, they placed us in a room near the bar, so we had to listen to loud music and loud noise until past 3 am. Staff is not friendly. They did not give me my IHG reward points. Won’t make a reservation again through expedia for rooms as they do nit honor member rewards.
