Great hotel. Lovley rooftop. Rated 4/5 only because there was no washroom in the lobby, which was a real pain. The only washroom was on the 15th floor! The room also does not have a fridge for guest use, which we really would have liked.

WARNING: the hotel rooms are covered in black mold! I got moved to another room after providing the front desk pictures of the shower area, yet the room i was moved to was also questionable. Looks like they just put a fresh coat of paint over it rather than actually fix this issue. They also prioritize Mr. Purple guest over the hotel guest. I was told multiple time that we don’t make the hotel money, they do. So if you are booking this hotel based off the pool amenities, you will be highly disappointed. It took me two days and two hours of waiting for a seat by the pool to finally be able to dip my toes in the water but then, was almost immediately told I had to leave due to someone buying the table I was at even though it was during “Hotel guest hours”

Overall hotel is nicely designed and of good quality - room size, furnishings, showers etc. We chose the hotel because it had a pool, a gym and breakfast included. These are super important features and where the hotel falls down. Yes, there is a pool but it is small and located on a roof terrace that doubles up as local bar / club on Fri, Sat and Sun. The venue is free for non guests to use and you will feel less than welcome with large areas reserved for non hotel guests. The breakfast is comical. It is at best a cafe with a choice of turkey muffin or croissant. They run out of both and you have to wait 30 mins for the next batch to be cooked. As for the gym, we have better kit at home. The gym is the size of a bedroom with 2 running machines, an old exercise bike and a single bench. Room has no air con so is beyond stuffy in the summer. In summary this is a 3 star hotel with limited amenities. The best bits - roof terrace and pool are sublet to Mr Purple for the enjoyment of local 30 something’s. We would not recommend the hotel as amenities are very limited and staff are distracted by the bar/club rather than attending to guests. Desk staff were very pleasant but not proactive. We stayed five nights and our minibar was never restocked.

Wasted $722. There was a burnt whole in the curtain and the suite we had was just filthy, the only nice thing was the bathroom— barely because the shower became clogged.

I had an issue with my stay and they said they would refund one days resort fee during checkout. They never did. I called guest services and they said they would look into it and never got back to me. Hotel is okay but service is lacking.

The hotel is a good value but the drawbacks are: - Club on the 15th floor is VERY LOUD. - Bathroom is mildewy and overall the rooms look a little WORN. Needs a refresh at this level. - Seems like false advertising but on the weekend from 1:00p on the pool is CLOSED unless you pay a $150 FEE. It is not mentioned or I didn't see it mentioned on Expedia. - The staff was very unfriendly, felt like they were posing to be cool. I'm a native New Yorker, New Yorkers are nice people. Note to Hotel: I had to live with the club noise or accept a lower grade room and I contacted the desk about the fee. In both cases they did not offer to resolve it appropriately. So please do not write a boilerplate cut and paste response to this review that you are sorry and will make it right next time. And your check out app is broken and no one answers the phone!
