"This hotel is a very old hotel that appears to be being fixed up slowly. The place is clean and staff is very helpful and nice. This hotel DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. The rooms are large. They have mini fridges and microwaves. The beds are super comfy and the best beds we had on our vacation. The location is within walking distance of the aquarium. There is a RV park similar to a KOA that is right out the back doors. There wasn't any issues with them. It was just not much to look at. The rooms have balconies that overlook it. Our room was 30 to 40 feet away from someone camping in their rv. Parking was easy and plentiful. The place felt safe even at night."

"It was a decent stay for what we needed it for which was sleep! It’s currently being renovated, so there is not a front desk staff at that building. You have to go to the neighboring hotel for service, which is fine, just not ideal. Grab and go breakfast was alright- enough for a start to your day. Great room views. Beach access & parking was perfect. Staff was awesome! Rooms/elevators are pretty outdated and not air conditioned- had to use the provided box fan/open windows (one didn’t have a screen- seagulls eyed it!). Overall, it was decent for a short coastal stay, but definitely not for those looking for an upscale location."

"The manager Harry was especially helpful, polite, kind, and welcoming. We appreciate his professionalism. He clearly cares about the property and offering great customer service! The room was delightful and large. The queen beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was just right. We really enjoyed our stay here. The price was really fair considering it's the summer season. We will stay here each time we visit the Newport area. Thank you!"
