Manganui Cottage - Western Lake, South Wairarapa

10/10 Excellent
"Manganui Cottage is a cute little cottage situated on a working farm. When I went in the winter time I was met by a lovely warm fire, and the place was clean and homely. I was able to walk around the farm after meeting the farm manager and owner, so it was great to wander around the farm, taking pics, and talking to the very friendly sheep who all followed me around every time I went through their paddock. This is a really lovely find, and if you just want a few days peace and quiet to work on a project without interruptions, this is the place. Beautiful view of the hills on the western side as well. I loved my stay here."

Bach 1 - Loburn Bach Accommodation, in the Lake Ferry Village

"We had a delightful stay over Anzac weekend. The unit was spotless and we had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. We had our small dog with us and the property was fine. The hosts were very friendly but not intrusive. It was plenty warm enough on some cold nights. We'll keep in on our radar to return."
