Great location!
The house was very nice considering the age and neighboring properties. Bring your own hair dryer, as the one provided looks like it could be a fire hazzard. Stereo and DVD players are broken so, if that's important to you, bring your own. We were glad to have off street parking. This was a great asset during our stay since we walked everywhere and never needed to move our car off the street.

6" x ^' Square cut out of the blinds in the bathroom
Did not get check in instructions until 10 minutes to 3 the day of check in. House was in a terrible run down neighborhood. House had a bad odor. Found a 6" x 6" square cut out of the lower corner of bathroom blinds we covered with a towel. Did not feel safe, secure or private. we will not stay at another property listed by VRBO

Very heart breaking when you get a guest that leaves a one star review amongst 120+ Five (5) Star reviews. This guest neglected to mention that check in is 3pm and I was in touch with him earlier in the day letting him know once the maid service completes their task would send instructions. Again check in time is 3 pm and he received his instructions 10 mins early. The neighborhood presently has 7 properties under going renovations to become short term rentals. If that makes you feel unsafe that is beyond what we can provide. I can say we had a single female spend 8 days there a week before this guest arrived and if you read her review this guest is very critical and harmful type reviewer. The one positive this guest will no longer use VRBO and instead sounds like they will stay at the Ritz Carlton. This platform is for reasonable fares when traveling. There are other options that cost more that will satisfy your needs better. Sorry you felt the way you did. We will try even harder to correct the problems and provide a better traveling experience to our guest.

The Bungalow
The blue bungalow was as advertised. Very clean, very well stocked. Plenty of room for us and the pups. Mr. Rizzo was easy to communicate with. I would suggest bringing a Roku to hook up, the TV only has antenna. A lot of attractions were within walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay. Information given was mostly correct. It is a 10-12 min walk to the Falls. We were able to walk to The Aquarium, Falls Park, Goat Island and restaurants. At night when the traffic is quieter you are able to hear the falls. Neighborhood is rundown and it is very sad to see a lot of the homes boarded up. Inside of the bungalow was clean and neat!! Negative things: Outside grill needs updated or at least cleaned. Neighbors right next door would play their music very loud at night to the point we were grateful we brought a fan along to drown out the noise so we could sleep.

The Blue Bungalow was wonderful. It's a little gem tucked on street of older houses in a downtown neighborhood. My girlfriend and I were in town for a wedding but were spending the day Saturday at the Falls. The house was nice. Modern equipment with some real cool vintage decorations mixed in. We enjoyed our stay. Very easy to get to anything downtown. Doordash drivers had no problem finding the place. We were very comfortable and felt very safe. Mr. Rizzo was very easy to communicate with. We already decided we will be going back sometime. One thing I would suggest if you are TV watchers or have kids that would watch, bring a firestick or roku to hook up. Nice TVs but antenna tv doesn't offer much. A very nice place to chill and relax after a day of doing tourist stuff.

Nice Stay at the Blue Bungalow
My spouse and I had an enjoyable stay in the Niagara Falls area at the Blue Bungalow. We found the facilities there as promoted, and it met all our expectations and then some. We're homeaway newbies, but Lou answered our process questions to get us acclimated. It was nice to be able to walk back and forth to the attractions. We would stay there again if we were to revisit the area. So, we recommend a stay at this property if you're into functional convenience... Jim & Gail R

Great place to stay!
We stayed for 4 nights here and it was perfect for us! The area in the backyard was great! The house was very cozy with a lot of room. The neighborhood is beat down but no issues with our stay. Would definitely visit again!

Niagara visit
We had a good stay in a city that was dirty and depressed. If you walk to the tourist traps you can see how many empty homes are only blocks away from the casino with its attached temporary residences. This bungalow is a nice spot that is really close to the falls and allthe things you would want to see as a tourist. The neighbors are nice and the yard is set up for canine friends.

Cozy little Bungalow
The location was excellent. We barely had to drive anywhere. All of the main tourist attractions were within walking distance. The neighborhood itself is a little run down, but coming from a dangerous neighborhood, I never felt like I was in danger. Neighbors were friendly and we had no problems. Great stay. Would recommend.

Convenient value bungalow
This bungalow was clean, cleverly decorated, and comfortable. It is conveniently close to the Falls (12 minute walk). Some places in the neighborhood are not as nice, but this one rises above. It is a great value and a fun placd to stay.

Problems made worse by uncooperative owner!
As frequent VRBO renters with wonderful experiences, we were so disappointed with our experience dealing with this owner. We planned a mini-stay in Niagara Falls. Upon arrival, we were shocked and rather skeeved out to find an absolutely filthy toilet. We were so uncomfortable we decided to vacate early. When We contacted Mr. R, he initially apologized and offered a partial reimbursement, which we felt was fair. What followed was an absolute run-around to get our partial refund. Mr. R. was uncooperative and VERY unprofessional. We would not recommend dealing with him. We were not a difficult couple to deal with- we were taken back by him. Such a shame, because we have previously had such positive experiences with VRBO. In fact it was VRBO who intervened and FINALLY secured our refund!

Madam your refund was approved by me and must go through VRBO. To feel your “run a round” was caused on my part simply is not the case. After reviewing your interactions we found several comments simply not to be true and still authorized your refund. It’s hRd to believe that you were so disturbed by the toilet yet you waited until your check out to complain . Most people would complain upon checking in? You stated there was no way for you to clean the stain that was allegedly ruined your entire 2 day stay when there is a toilet brush right next to the toilet. With over a 110 five (5) star reviews you madame are the first one (1) star. I found your stay with us unpleasant and in the future would never accept another reservation from you again either and rated your stay as a one (1) star experience as well. That old saying you can’t please everyone is true especially with the scammers.

The Blue Bungalow prides itself on being up to code with the City’s requirements for short term rentals and we display our license as soon as you walk in the door that shows we comply with all City requirements. The outlets are per building code and plenty through out the house.

The cottage was in an excellent location. It was clean and well stocked. A short walk to the Falls. There is parking off street behind the cottage. It was really nice having a washer and dryer. The provided coffeemaker and great coffee really hit the spot each morning. The host was very responsive and helpful with a suggestions.

Great Stay at the "Blue Bungalow"!
Terrific location to Niagara Falls, walking bridge to Canada, and blocks from Casino in an area currently undergoing gentrification. Although the area appears somewhat rough, 2 single 60ish female travellers felt perfectly safe here, and experienced nothing but friendly, helpful neighbors around us. Many food options, ranging from delicious food trucks, to more upscale dining within walking distance. It's a great place to stay if traveling with your dogs. There is a small secured yard in back. We felt very at home in this cozy cottage, which comes complete with w/d and a few laundry pods, TP in the bathrooms, and a single cup Kuerig and variety coffee pods. If looking for a sterile hotel experience, don't stay here. Very "homey" with many travelers products left behind, to use if needed, or leave behind for following travelers. I will definitely return here if in the area.

Hidden Gem
This place was AMAZING! Lou was a great host! He gave us a lot of recommendations for places to visit and eat! Upon arrival, the house was already cooled down as the air had been on! There were snacks on the counter and the home was meticulously clean! There are even plenty of pamphlets for activities on the table. This place is right across from the casino and about a 10 minute walk to the falls. This was our first time ever booking through VRBO and it was definitely positive! This place exceeded our expectations! We were blown away!

Definitely a hidden gem
First of all, if you're staying in the US side of Niagara Falls, not many homes are in good shape downtown. So, the fact that the blue bungalow is not just in great shape but is also located so close to the Falls is what makes it truly a hidden gem. The property owner was quick to respond and sent over great recommendations for food and where to best view the Falls. The backyard that was fully fenced was also a saving grace for me and the pups. It was a clean, comfortable and welcoming stay on the way through town. Thanks for the stay!

No parking? That is not true there is off street parking right behind the house. Too many rules ? We do not allow smoking inside the house. Very unfair review that want not truthful. We try very hard to make all our guest stay enjoyable and very sorry this guest felt this way.

Close to the falls and great host
We had a very short time in Niagara, so the closeness to the falls and tips from the owner helped us make the most of our time there. Though small on the outside, the house makes great use of the space. I stayed with my husband, our two kids, and our two dogs. The dogs appreciated having the small fenced in backyard rather than a grass strip like the hotels we’d been at. It was a little tricky getting to the back parking and then our fully loaded, heavy minivan scraped the edge when getting up to the parking spaces. When we left, my husband pulled out of the middle space instead of the left one, then I quickly packed the heaviest stuff in and got in, and we were fine. Would definitely stay again.

Pet friendly and close to the falls
The small fenced in area in the back was nice for the dogs, since I didn't need to walk them on leashes all the time. I walked to the falls several times. There are also nice hiking areas that are close along the gorge, such as Devils Hole and Whirlpool State Park. You can walk down to the water via steps at these areas and walk along the river, or walk along the top of the gorge.
