“If I could I would give this a -10! It is literally the worst hotel we ever had. The room smelled like mildew and smoke. There was mold in the ceiling. The bedsheets were dirty, there was random stains everywhere. The floor was sticky. Tenants were smoking weed outside the hallways. Front staff was rude. Couldn’t even answer simple questions. Receptionist was on personal phone when I arrived. Didn’t even talk to me. When I came to complain about the room she basically said no refund and……

“The staff at the Admiral Inn were very friendly, and overall we appreciated the nice view from our room. However, there were several issues that kept me from rating the property higher. The room and property are definitely outdated, although I think some fairly minor updates could make a big difference. One of the biggest inconveniences was that there were no accessible electrical outlets beside the bed. I actually had to go out and buy a drop cord just so I could charge my phone near the bed.……

“The property worked very well for a one-day stay. The room had fresh paint and a renovated bathroom; the only downside was the smell of cigarette smoke. The room I stayed in didn't have a kitchen (I'm not sure if the others do), but the staff was helpful.”

“Overall, we had a great weeklong stay. The room was clean and in good proximity to the ocean and other businesses, surf shop and food market. The price seemed very fair for the room size and amenities. The hotel staff was very responsive, helpful and accommodating. We would come back here again.”
