Room smelt of cigarettes. Chairs in room like garden chairs. Shower had curtain not glass. Room not very comfortable at all. Location and surrounding area very nice

With Cabinn you know what to expect, and it's fine for one night. However, it was very warm this summers night. The windows need to open further, or some aircon or a fan. The wall said 'all you need to sleep', but I did not sleep well.

Property is in a good location with easy access to shops and dining options. Hotel is fairly basic but good value and I have stayed on a number of occasions. Parking is limited so that can be a pain if you arrive and they are all full.

We where a group of friends traveling to Esbjerg. We rented 3 rooms for 4 nights. There is a substantial quality difference in the rooms as one section of the hotel is renovated and the other section is not. I paid extra for my room as I went for the upgrade “ captain’s room”. I would not recommend doing that as there was no noticeable difference in the room size or quality. Beds are small, but somewhat comfortable. Bathroom was absolutely discussing. Moldy tiles and also a strong smell of mold form the bathroom. The bathroom floor also slopes away from the drain, so water is running into the room when you take a shower. Bathroom was so nasty that I felt like I needed a shower after I got out of the shower. The rooms are also extremely hot, as there is no A/C or fan in the room. Noisy. There is also a lot of noice from the nearby city center. And we got woken up by the police escorting a drunk person out of the hotel at 2AM. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, as the only thing worse than the hotel standard was the attitude of the staff.

Not impressed with the reception staff.
A good basic hotel, reception staff were not very accommodating refusing to take a bank transfer as payment (resin stated was cost of transfers!?!). Their payment system would not for some reason take my business credit card although there was plenty on there to cover the bill. A colleague had to use his personal card.

Bad experience at Cabinn Esbjerg
So my pregnant girlfriend and I left for a getaway and to have some cozy time in Esbjerg, but when we arrived to the room it smelled like lockerroom, and the sheets was super dirty with stains on it. Looked like blood, makeup or just dirt - my girlfriend got so sad and insisted that we just went home again and never came back… so overall a very very bad experience and we left after just one hour. Did talk to the staff about refund, but they just gave me the mail to the manager, who is not answering… Would never recommend that place

Very basic level accommodation with brilliant location. Breakfast was slightly disappointing seeing how they charge 90 kronor for it, and we actually paid even more for it as we booked our room with breakfast included (it's usually the other way round, cheaper to book a room with breakfast instead of paying breakfast separately). I could still visit them again as both our room and the rest of the hotel were clean and tidy, room price was pretty reasonable and location was just great. I would probably just choose to get my breakfast elsewhere.

The room smells like smoke!
Quite disappointing. I ordered a non-smoking room but it still smelled like a smoking room, which was not very nice. They said there would be free on-site parking but had to park 5min away since the parking was occupied. Friendly service.

Overall a decent experience at this hotel. We did however get a family room located at the ground floor with windows facing the shopping street in Esbjerg, which is very noisy also at night, pretty annoying waking up to people puking outside the windows in the middle of the night.

The room was so small, we had to pay 350 DKK for an upgrade to a room that wasn't much bigger. Being on the ground floor we could not leave the window open, and the Air conditioner was not working, it was very warm. I did not hardly sleep, it was very frustrating, being the first night of a 3 day trip, I was tired the next day or 2. We were scheduled for another night and we just cancelled without refund because it was so uncomfortable.

Good location, but ..
Convenient location in the city center, one block over from the main square. One side of the hotel is located opposite one of the many bars in the city, resulting in noice until 2.30 am. During warm days it’s very difficult to get your room cooler. Small bathrooms in poor shape, mold, loose vanities etc. room it self was very nice in both size and very bright. The access to rooms are thru very old elevators that are very sensitive or thru an old but very wide staircase. Staff at the front desk was not very accommodating, called ahead about parking and got one message, arrived at hotel and got a completely different information. If central location is a must it is good value for your money.
