“Rick provides an excellent breakfast and some great conversation. Definitely better than the regular boring hotel. The parking lot is small, so maybe bring a midsize or compact vehicle vs a full size crew cab truck.”

“The admiral Inn is a fairly nice Older motel. It’s two floors there’s no elevator so it’s all steps. The pool is older but fair nothing fancy there’s coffee in the lobby but no breakfast. You’re right near everything not on the beach side but just across the street and it’s a short walk to the pier, etc. I would probably give it 3 1/2 stars out of five. The staff was OK some of the front desk, people were more into their phone than they are into the customers other than that it’s a good place to……

“We booked this property at the last minute after another trip had to be abandoned due to flight cancellations. We weren't sure what to expect at the Sonesta as it was our first time. It surpassed all expectations. The property is conveniently located with easy beach and Shipyard community access. It offered a number of other amenities and never felt overly busy or mobbed, even in the pool and bar areas. The property is freshly renovated and the rooms are clean and spacious. “We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott.”
