I stayed for 3 nights at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. The check in process was quick and easy.
The room was unremarkable but clean. The tv was not an old box tv, but also not a current flat screen and fairly small. The air conditioner worked intermittently. The mini fridge doesn't get cold so any leftovers will spoil.
The next door neighbor's door was incredibly squeaky and they opened and shut the door at least 30 times in the morning prior to 7 am. I did ask the front desk to have maintenance WD-40 it and that seemed to take care of the squeak. It would be nice if they could figure a way to minimize the banging from when people just let the door slam.
The breakfast is complimentary and I felt it was reasonable. No one cleaned the room (I know that a lot of hotels are moving towards reducing/eliminating cleaning services but it's not my preference). For the last evening someone put new towels in the room but that was the extent of the 'servicing'. Trash was not removed and nothing was cleaned or tidied.
Overall, the hotel was decent but not one I would necessarily recommend. The elevator is really slow so we typically took the stairwell. There are boxes of old stained pillows and outdated artwork being stored in there on the ground level... I can only assume until trash day. It's not a great look for a space frequented by the guests.
