“Great house and host. On the second day ac stopped working. I called the host and within 30 min maintenance was there fixing the problem Only drawback 9 people( 5 of them female) and 2 bathrooms. Close to weeki wachee, tarpon spring and boatrentals”

“We had a wonderful stay at Halls River Retreat! The house was spotless, well-equipped, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful.The home is beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed.The river was clear, cool, and peaceful. Kayaks are launched from the boat-slips in the backyard. We saw all kinds of fish swimming by, a family of river otters at play, and a beautiful eagle flew overhead.We also enjoyed fishing right...

“The property had everything you needed on site! We only needed to supply the food! Our kids and grandchildren loved swimming. We even had a manatee come to our dock almost every day! It is by far the best property that we have stayed at. I have never seen Florida in that way. Now I understand what Old Florida means. Absolutely beautiful! Definitely plan on returning.”

“Definitely a great place to stay, I would say the area has some hidden gems. The river is great, but with a big family we went to Roger’s Park which I highly recommend along with Aripeka Sand hills which was a bonus adventure. Everyone morning we sat out back and watched so many species of fish just pile through the canal. Kids won’t forget this one.”

“There was plenty of room for our large family group. The kids and young adults enjoyed the downstairs with 2 beds and game room while us older adults enjoyed the 3 bedrooms upstairs. We swam in the pool everyday and drove to the beach and kayaking where we saw multiple manatees. The owners were very helpful with questions and always quick to respond. ”

“This was our 3rd year staying in this home and we had another great stay! It is wonderful for large groups and children. The bunk room is great for kids. The yard is perfect for hanging out and the views are incredible. The dock is great. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could want. We had one small issue during our stay and the host was extremely responsive and remedied the issue right away. We’ve stayed at a lot of homes in Homosassa and this is by far our fave! Will stay...
