“Great home. Well stocked with towels, soaps, kitchen equipment and other necessities. Great communication and helpful! We felt right at home and we actually wished our trip wasn’t so busy so we could have enjoyed the home more. ”

“This is a quiet and cozy house with a gorgeous hot tub. It was close enough to Bowman Field without the hassle of traffic in Louisville. Highly recommend!”

“House was clean, no major issues. Bed frames were squeaky anytime you moved or rolled over. Doors were also squeaky and needed some lubrication. Doorknobs were loose and needed tightened. Water line wasn't hooked up to fridge and ice trays were not provided, so we had to buy ice. Light bulbs were out in several rooms but ceiling was so high we couldn't change them out even if we wanted to. Would have been nice to have curtains on the windows in addition to the blinds as the sun was very bright……

“We had a great stay at Derby home. Was a short distance from great restaurants in Jeffersonville and a short drive to many distilleries in Louisville across the river. Tyler was very helpful in answering any questions we had. Definitely would stay again!”

“We took 4 teenagers to Kentucky Kingdom and stayed here to have the comforts of home instead of staying in a hotel. The kids really enjoyed the game room. It was nice to see 4 teenagers playin board games instead of on their phones. The home was very cute and really clean. Will stay there again if in the area.”

“Our family enjoyed many years living in this historic neighborhood. I couldn’t believe this cottage was available in VRBO. First, this secluded neighborhood is beautiful 365 days a year. Wildlife, deer and massive trees add to the charm of this property. Matthew has restored this lovely cottage to an efficient and comfortable space. Whether sitting on the porches or walking the neighborhood, The Hummingbird’s interior is well thought out and plenty of space for everyone. Excellent……
