The room was exceptionally clean, the decor in the halls and lobby seem to be a bit dated, but was clean and orderly. Siding on the building as you drove up that had recently sustained some damage from a storm and was literally hanging off of the building. Being in management myself, I found that to be a hazard if it were to fall off, it could have hit a pedestrian or vehicles. The groundskeeper needed to have cut the grass and definitely needed to trim back trees that were impeding being able to walk on the sidewalk. It looked like they were going through a transitional period as there were pallets sitting around in the hallways and outside for upgrades to the facilities. There was only one icemaker working and another icemaker was waiting for an electrician to hook it up.The counter staff was kind and made every attempt to be accommodating. The ladies that served the breakfast did an impeccable job. The breakfast was served in a clean, orderly manner, they were consistently refreshing the food and cleaning off tables that had been occupied. There was, however, an odd assortment of food. One example was chopped up, hard-boiled eggs, served in the warmer along with biscuits. I don’t feel that the breakfast staff was responsible for the food that had been ordered and they were simply making the best out of a situation they had no control over. I would definitely stay there again as it was an overall good experience and I would recommend others to stay there as well.
