Great stay in oak island
The house is very convenient to restaurants and shops. The beach was less than a 10 minute walk. My teenage daughters really appreciated having their own rooms. Having another mirror in the house would have been nice as having just one made getting ready hectic. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in Oak Island.

Perfect Beach Stay!
This was our first time to Oak Island, and Dina’s house was absolutely a perfect place to stay. The pictures don’t do it justice, and what you don’t see, is an awesome mud room off the kitchen with a washer and dryer, double sinks, toilet, shower, and an exterior door to the yard where there’s a outside spigot to rinse off when you come home from the beach. The weather was beautiful, the walk to the beach takes about five minutes, and the porch is great for outdoor eating and just hanging out. We really hope to stay again sometime. Dina was such a super host, even left us a treat box of cookies 😊

Amazing Girls' Trip!
We loved this property! It was a short walk to the beach but we drove since there was public parking so close. We had everything we needed and Dina was very responsive! We didn't have any issues and would definitely stay here again! The only suggestion we have is to add a couple mirrors in the bedrooms since we had all women trying to get dressed at the same time! But I feel these won't be an issue as the remodeling she has been doing is complete!! We greatly appreciate the owner allowing us to stay here and helping to ensure we had a great trip!

Oak Island Vacation

Enjoyed our visit to the beach. Our welcome by the owner was so very nice, and greatly appreciated! The area is clean, friendly and easy to find anything needed. Enjoyed the little shops and visits to the ice cream shop.

Great for basic stay
Darling house that will meet all your needs. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located. The only caution is to know that the floors are not perfectly level. Once you know this and anticipate it, not a big deal, but the first walk down the hall it make take you by surprise.

Girls Beach trip 2021
This beach cottage was the perfect size for our group of 6 for 3 nights!!! The location was perfect & it was stocked with everything we needed including beach chairs & a cart! Dina took great care of our needs during our stay & wasn’t far. There was a power outage our first night. We also had a couple of appliances that went out during our stay. Pretty unusual but they were replaced brand new within a couple hours. Dina took care of everything & even brought us filled croissants from Burney’s & a bag of ice!!! All the girls say they would stay here again!!

Best Location
This location was the best for our Fourth of July family time. 1 1/2 blocks from beach and Yaupon Pier. It’s also close to bridge over to Southport. The owner manager was good to communicate with.

We loved our stay at this beach house! Check in was easy, and the house met our needs; it was clean and well maintained, and just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Beach chairs were even provided! We’ll be going back!

Quiet neighborhood
My husband and I had a great time. Just two blocks from the beach in a quiet neighborhood we could hang out at the beach during the day and play cards on the deck in the evening. We only had to reach out to the host once and she was very responsive.

Great size for a family
There was some garbage left under the beds from the previous renters and the tub had mildew in the jets so I couldn't give my little boy a bath without mold coming out in the bath water. That is my only complaint. It was in a nice area, short walk to the beach, and the house was the perfect size. The beach cart, chairs, and umbrella for us to use was a great added bonus. Would recommend.

Oak Island vacation
Wasn't sure what to expect since a hurricane had just hit the island but everything was fine. The house was very clean and well maintained. Air conditioning was great and ceiling fans in all rooms. Kitchen appliances like new. Plumbing worked great. Property owner was easy to reach and very helpful. Had the privacy of our own house at reasonable rate

We go to Oak Island yearly and loved the location of this house, one block from pier, and beach, nice for evening walks. Close to everything, short drive to other beach locations if you don’t want to swim by pier. The house was nicely decorated and clean. Quiet neighborhood.

Location....location....location as soon as you pull into the drive way, or look for a place to eat you will understand. Could not have asked for a more close and central location less then .5 mile from multiple restaurants(island Joes, shagger jacks, Thai by the sea) and most importantly the beach. Would recommend!

Lovely cottage in a great location
The property was very clean and well maintained. A 5 minute walk to the beach and pier and multiple restaurants and other places to go within a 15 minute drive. Safe to say we found our go-to spot if it's available. On top of all of this the property owner was super helpful and responds immediately.Would recommend and definitely book again

We loved our stay!
We had a wonderful week at the Cozy Beachside Cottage. The cottage was nice and clean! It was the perfect set up for our family of 5. We loved walking or biking to the beach, going for morning runs, and visiting the local coffee shops within walking distance. Our last night we were able to watch sea turtles hatching on the beach! The location was perfect! We also really appreciated having a laundry room!! We hope to be back!

Great beach getaway with family!
We enjoyed our stay very much in this cute 3-bedroom home, perfect for a small family or group. Only 2 blocks away from the beach, clean, fans in each room, full kitchen, beach chair, washer/dryer, and much more. Owner was kind and considerate, couldn't ask for more. Great place to stay
The house was clean upon arrival, the prior tenant had left it a mess. The owner and cleaning company worked very hard to get it immaculate. The owner was very attentive to needs, we commented that there wasn't very many pans and cookware, she immediately went out and purchased some. Oak Island had a great beach, short walk down the street. Nice restaurants, a lot of other stuff to do close by.
