An unassuming gem!!!
First, the Route Inn chain is equivalent to "Motel 8" or the "Red Roof Inn" in concept. So, this no-frills hotel is not meant to be a full service establishment. With this in mind, this hotel far exceeded our expectations! It is situated steps from the JR Obihiro Station, and there are many restaurants and bars only a couple of blocks away. The staff was friendly, helpful and courtrous, and they maintain the building very clean and updated. Unfortunately, there is no "Japanese atmosphere" and the decoration is totally western. The hotel, thus, isn't "sexy" in any way. The breakfast buffet was quite nice, as well--and they had a delicious selection of breads. The best feature of the hotel is their onsen spa facilities. Who'd expect such nice onsen in an unassuming hotel like this one! All in all, I had a wonderful time, and I'd highly recommend it.

Convenient location - right opposite to JR station; Parking spaces at hotel is limited but when the spaces are full the staff will facilitate on-site automated garage. Bit stuffy heating during autumn season

建物が古くホコリっぽかった。 また部屋のエアコンが故障していて、エアコンをOFFにしていても、部屋の温度が上がってしまう状態で風邪を引き掛けてしまった。ホテルスタッフに伝えて部屋の変更を提案されたが、荷物もあったのでやめておいた。

安定の品質
ユニットバスの換気扇の音は相変わらず気になりますが、コスパは素晴らしいですね。 コロナの影響で値下がりしたのもありますが、質は下がらないので流石と言ったところです。

映画館に近くて便利でした
駅からも近く、温泉もあり、朝食もついているプランでありがたかったです。 個人的には隣が映画館でしたので、前夜にナイトショーを観た帰りが楽でした。

チェックイン時にサービスのドリンクでタリーズのコーヒーを頂きましたが、コーヒーが苦手なのでお水の方が良かったです。選べると良いかも。 お風呂は広いし、サウナもあったので良かったです。 朝食のメニューがもう一工夫何かがあればと思いました。
