Beautiful house on the beach
We had a wonderful 6 night stay in Ocean Isle Beach at this property. There is nothing better than waking up and walking right out to the beach. Very pet friendly area, a tad windy at times but we had beautiful weather otherwise. Restaurants, grocery stores and other activities are within a 5-10 minute drive. Will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks!

Beautiful Property
This beach house is so lovely. We loved the decor and artwork as well as the comfort of the furniture. The deck has wonderful tall, big chairs that allow you to see everything on the beach. Super easy access to the beach, which is literally steps away. No hilly dunes to climb; it's flat which makes it easy if you have mobility issues. The owner was so quick to respond to questions. This was our first time to Ocean Isle and fell in love with it. The town is so charming and so clean. We took full advantage of Instacart being available in the area, which was so convenient. My dogs loved laying on the deck all day! My sister and I are older and not exactly fit (she is in chemo treatments at the moment) so we did find the stairs outside and inside a bit challenging. I wish there were railings on both sides to better balance myself going up and down. But if you are younger and have no mobility issues, I'm sure it wont be an issue. Overall, we loved this property, the town and the responsiveness of the owners. A+!

We enjoyed our stay at this beach cottage. The location can't be beat! The cottage had a great deck with elevated deck chairs for an unobstructed view of the beach and ocean. The area was very peaceful and quiet. The cottage was comfortable and well stocked. Our host was responsive and we would definitely stay there again.

North / East end of OIB
Near the end of East Third and situated close to a very wide area of the beach. Great views, wave sounds from the porch, quiet and dark on this end. Lots of dishes and cookware in the kitchen. Take dish tabs, coffee filters and trash bags when you go, otherwise set up nicely. If you want specific glasses for beverages bring along. Hosts were great with communication! Lots of sleep space if you have kids.

Great rental
The location was great being at the end of the beach. The deck furniture was perfect. When we weren’t on the beach, we were enjoying the deck. The house was clean and updated and the property manager made sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t realize that canopies were not allowed on the beach but the several umbrellas provided by the house saved the day. The only con was they have a linen service that puts clean sheets in each bedroom. We were not a big fan of having to make up the bed after traveling and unloading but still give the house a 5 star review. Would definitely recommend.

Took our family down for a getaway when school was over in Pa. Beautiful home right on the beach. Eveything you need was available at the home. Supermarkets and restauraunts all nearby. Home is away from main circle so it is quiet. Very relaxing and great time in Ocean Osle beach.

Great House!
This is our 2nd time staying here. The house is very clean and comfortable. They provide enough soap, detergent, paper towels etc. to get you started and the host is very responsive to any problems. The beach in front of the house is not as crowded as other areas. I would stay there again.

Plan to stay again!
The house is near end of island with just homes (no multifamily dwellings) so quiet and very few people on the beach. It was actually dark at night! We loved sitting on the deck, watching the water, and hearing the waves. We loved the outdoor dining table and porch swing! The set up of the house was perfect for our family with the open common area of kitchen, dining, & living rooms. The upstairs landing was perfect for the young people to congregate separately from the adults. The Jack and Jill bathrooms between the bedrooms worked great. Our dog loved the deck. She spend most of her time out there watching whatever she wanted. Thank you for the extras- beach chairs, toys, & flashlights. The house is more like a home so we were comfortable and enjoyed every minute!

Quiet and Comfortable Oceanfront Vacay
8 adults and one dog found this lovely beach front house to be the perfect accommodations for our stay. The Sand Lot was 3rd house from the end of the street at the eastern end of the island, and just the right distance from the ocean; it was within easy walking distance to the water, and the tide didn't come too close. My family loved our stay here and will consider it again for future trips. With two king bedrooms (one on each level), one queen room (main floor), and the 4th room with 2 double/2 twin bunks (the 2nd floor), plus two full baths (one on each floor), our family found the rooms spacious and comfortable. The dining table seated eight, and the deck also had seating for everyone. Beach towels were provided, and there were plenty of towels/wash cloths. The sheets provided were soft and comfy. Everything worked; the A/C was great, we used the washer/drier, and we cooked meals. There were plenty of dishes and silverware and we didn't lack anything. It was as convenient as being at home but with a relaxing ocean front experience! We were a few minutes' drive from great restaurants, Publix grocery store and other shopping. The Sand Lot met all our vacation lodging expectations.

Great House.
There were 2 couples and 2 dogs. We had a great time. The house was very clean, nice sheets, plenty of towels, great deck and comfortable beds. Everything worked as it should with no problems. The location is at the top of the island with sunset and sunrise views. I didn’t cook (vacation) so I can’t speak about pots and pans, but I would definitely stay here again.

Late November Get-away
This house was fantastic. The location could not have been better, right towards the end of the island, gave us the beach all to ourselves. Heading out to the point was a great walk with my dog, who we now know LOVES the beach. I was very happy that this house is pet friendly so that he could some with us. I couldn't be more pleased with the relaxing stay had at this house. Was a great way to spend my birthday.

Fantastic view!
Wanted an oceanfront house and this did not disappoint! Sitting on the deck in a very quiet part of Ocean Isle was beyond words. Loved the fireplace and the beds were super comfortable. Would definitely return.

Great location!
We appreciated this house allowed our pups, and it was a cute little place! Hurricane Ian delayed our trip a couple of nights, but the property manager offered to prorate our price and kept us updated as to when it was safe to make our way there , and what issues we would be facing. Although older, the house was quaint. And the location was amazing!

The space in the house was great. Large family/dining area with 4 bedrooms. Had a high chair!! And extra beach chairs. Knowing this made packing lighter. Waking up to the beach front will always be amazing. We had the beach to ourselves each day! Fun things nearby like the park, coffee shops and tap rooms were good as well. Overall, it was a great beach house for our 2022 family vaca!

Great view & location. House is tired looking & needs TLC.. Kitchen has dirty old worn pots & pans. I always stay at 5 star rentals & don’t mind paying high prices but expect 5 star updating & cleanliness . Stovetop is dirty & worn .The price does not warrant what we received.

Don’t pass this one up!
This was a wonderful vacation home. It was perfect for our family and the location couldn’t be beat! The house was very clean and has everything we needed. Plenty of Beach and hardly anyone around. The 2 bedrooms on the ground floor worked out great since we had my mother-in-law with us. If this one is available, rent it! Our family hopes to stay here again next summer. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We couldn’t have asked for a better place.

3rd Annual Girls Beach Trip
This property is amazing and the owners are even better! They were so easy to get in contact with and helped us with anything that we needed. The house was very clean and spacious for our group of 8 women. The views from house are beautiful. We would definitely recommend this rental property to others for families and groups of friends. The house was clean and nicely updated. Very cute. There were 6 adults and 1 teen (17 yrs old). We fit comfortably in the house and really enjoyed our stay. Brian Walker was very helpful and answered my questions very quickly. The only thing that gave us concern was the proximity of the house to the ocean. We could feel motion in the house when lying in bed at night.

We spent 4 times what we did for the same week at another beach the previous year. House was updated on inside and cute, not very clean. The outside pics were deceiving, sand bags everywhere which was difficult for older parents and small child. There was no beach for chunks of the day. Deck was nice. Not enough coffee mugs, we had to purchase some for our 7 adults. Overall pleasant visit, not what we were expecting though.

Great little vacation house
This is a nice little vacation house. The perfect size for my husband and I. Love the close up view of the ocean and the contrast of low tide where we had a lot of beach to walk on. Brian is a great host and was very quick to resolve our few issues. We liked the seclusion of the house, yet it was a short drive to restaurants and a gym.

We were a little worried about the sandbag situation and how high the water comes up under the property during high tide because we have very young children. However, the underside of the house turned out to be a blessing in disguise because the kids were able to play in the sand and enjoy the view while keeping them fairly contained. Lots of great beach toys and chairs available to use. Kids had a blast, and it was nice to sit out on the deck for meals and in the evening listening to the waves. Only so-so things about the stay were the ability to only use the beach at low tide, and that the house (though nicely updated) still seemed to be showing some age/needed repairs. Also, there were no paper products of any kind (napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, tissue). All in all, it was a really good stay. We got a lot of ocean front time and the kids had fun.

We had a blast at this house. The location is fantastic! Right on the beach with the high tide coming right up below the deck. So beautiful! We will definitely come back. The decor was lovely and we had plenty of room for all of us. There was a little confusion about checking in but as soon as I called the owner, everything was easily clarified. The owner also was awesome about giving me info after we checked in. Great communication! There was also some sand in the property that had not been vacuumed up, but again…. Not a big deal. The owner was very happy to help us with that as well. We love it here and will 100% be back next year!

We had a great time. In high tide the water comes up under the deck, but it was really neat being that close to the ocean. Also, the house is At the end of the island, it was private and no traffic. We had a couple of problems, but the owner came out immediately and fixed it. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful vacation while staying in your beach house! The weather was perfect! We loved the fact that we were right on the beach! The kids loved to play in the waves and in the tide pools at low tide! We all slept well in the comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked except it could use a bigger pot to cook macaroni in!! Thanks for sharing your house with us, would certainly recommend it to anyone!

Very peaceful and relaxing sitting on the deck listen to waves. The property was nice, kinda basic but just right for us. I did not like that I couldn't take my dog on the beach during the day time hours but he was able to sit under the house in the shade and watch the kids.
