Perfect location!
There were a few things I would have suggested to make our stay a little more comfortable, but the house was fine for sleeping/relaxing during our visit. The location in north OKC was perfect for visiting relatives in Edmond!

Girls Weekend
We had an enjoyable stay for an affordable weekend of two sisters catching up after not getting to see one another for a few months. The property was clean, beds were neatly made, nice linens, and towels were good. Home is in quiet neighborhood with a faint train whistle occasionally and a very loud noon siren on Saturdays. The living room furniture is not the most comfy and there a few things that feel mis-matched, damage is seen in small places throughout. But for the price point, for a safe place to stay without the fuss of a hotel and with the accommodations of a kitchen, I would recommend. It just needs a little polishing here and there and someone with an eye for hanging artwork. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Ambiguous Descriptions and Hidden Fees - A Cautionary Tale
IMO, the home itself was fair. The beds are comfortable and location suitable. However, showers ended with ankle deep water, there appears to be foundation issues, it was difficult to find at night, you are required to agree to receive marketing emails to sign-in to WiFi, and I was awoken multiple times from near by train whistles. The home is managed by Rakia, LLC, and the experience with them left me disappointed and wary of their practices. The primary issue revolves around what I perceive as their use of ambiguous language in the description that resulted in unexpected fees after the booking process. I was enticed by what seemed like a fair deal to visit my critically ill father in OKC. Unfortunately, the experience took a turn for the worse when, after booking my reservation through VRBO, I was hit with unexpected fees in emails from Rakia. The unexpected fees included mandatory property damage protection, either in a $500 cash deposit, or the purchase of an insurance policy through Rakia’s vendor, Superhog, a UK based company where the charge is processed. I encourage you to research reviews of Superhog before doing business with them. This lack of clear disclosure felt deceitful. Attempts to seek resolution to my concerns were met with outright refusal by Rakia and VRBO, adding to the frustration of the entire experience. I strongly caution potential renters to approach their listings with skepticism and carefully scrutinize all terms and conditions.

Its a pretty okay stay
There was some broken stuff that seemed to be glued together, but overall the owner was super kind and left extra blankets for my littles. It had a nice back yard. My only complaint is the master bed could have been a little less hard.
