“I waited I the lobby to check in for 15 mins then had to call the place. The room I stayed in was in another building under another name as a boarding house. The room I checked into wasn’t clean. Wet towels in the bath, trash can full from previous guest. I was moved to another room. Neither room provided soap to shower. The restaurant is only open a couple days a week. I wouldn’t even call this a hotel. BUT, it is the only game in town and convenient if you need to do business in Linden.”

“
Terrible and discriminatory service. The male receptionist lied to us: we asked him to change the battery in the smoke/carbon monoxide detector because it was beeping constantly (typical when the battery is low), and he assured us he had done it, but he hadn't. We spent the entire night without sleeping due to the constant beeps. At check-out, the female receptionist checked the issue, apologized, and confirmed it was indeed a low battery. Horrible experience, I do not recommend it, especially...

“My wife and I stayed here for two nights. There was a mixed communication apparently with the host and the listing. There is a home right next-door to this property and there is someone feeding the cows on the same property right directly behind the house at check-in time. We were told it was a private home sitting on a farm with a creek. The creek is actually across the street from the property. So if you’re looking for something that is very private, this really would not be a good choice. And...

“Everything about this place is amazing! The house is beautiful, extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was huge. The hosts deserve the biggest shout out, so accommodating and nice. Waking up and having coffee on the patio listening to the roosters crow and then in the evening hearing the cicadas sing was so peaceful. When we go back next year we will definitely plan to stay there again. Thank you again!”
